    Pros +

    • Good location in the small town. Parking right across the street. Great breakfast in the restaurant. The room itself was nicely done up with comfy bed and bedding.
    • Central to Ballinrobe and friendly staff
    • Very homey feeling pub below with nice people working the place. They provided a bottle of mineral water in the room which was a lovely touch. I also liked the rooftop view from the windows!

    Cons -

    • The entrance to the room (which could be closed off) resembled what some other reviewers mentioned - musty/mouldy smell— perhaps this little area needs some attention too.
    • Tiny small car parking fee in councilParking
    • No complaints!

Lovely breakfast, super friendly staff, helped me carry luggage upstairs to room.

    On street parking.

The room was large and comfy. The food was really good and the staff were very friendly

A bit of musty smell in anteroom and the plumbing was a challenge - sink did not drain well and toilet was hard to flush. Town was very depressed with few shops and restaurants near us

the breakfast was to die for and the restaurant was clean and tidy and the breakfast was one of the best i have eaten ever

the room the carpet was filthy n o window light as it had plastic roofing over them the shower was disgusting the sink was just about holding up the window was filthy i could not touch it the kettle was badly stained the walls are stud walls i heard every word from the people therte and the snoring kept me awake most nights the room could do with a full tidy up and painting to cover the marks i have taken photos of the filthy shower and the window covered with plastic roofing but cant seem to add them to this review

This place is nice, staff are friendly and rooms are comfortable.

Breakfast is included in the price. BUT, breakfast is only served from 9.00am to 12pm. this is much too late a start time. No exception were available. Also bar closed at 8.30. reception not always staffed.

The location was perfect as we were stopping at a place only a mile or so away to do some exploring. The breakfast service was excellent, with yummy food.

The breakfast does not start real early. Since we were tired from a long day of travel the day before that wasn't too much of a bother.

    Xenophobic manager

The manage is the worst person, I had a problem with my key and he was a terrible person very xenophobic with my wife. My desire was for fire this employer.. I don't recommend this hotel for this reason. The manager is very stupid and very xenophobic

Central to the beautiful town of Ballinrobe, fantastic staff, great food, and great atmosphere

My room didn't have the best view...

Room was warm and comfortable, bed was comfortable , tea and coffee making facility was excellent . Plenty hot water in the shower. Great breakfast. Lovely bar and restaurant area. Staff were great, food served quickly and with a smile.

Informed the owner before I left so hope he takes it the right way and acts on what I said.

The location was excellent adjacent to a car park and in the centre of the town. The breakfast was good and service was excellent. All staff were very welcoming. The rooms were great value and beds were very comfortable. The restaurant below was very convenient and served very tasty and good value meals.

The only negative was the the breakfast served on Sunday was too late (after 11am) and we didn't have time for it.

Amazing food, amazing owners and staff, and a wonderful town.

    9PeterPosted on: 11-15-2024

The breakfast was perfect, except just a little greasy, location was perfect, could do with larger towels for bath and shower, but all in all I had a perfect stay would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends
