Breakfast and staff was great! The room and the place was little outdated and worn, but overall experience was good / decent. Price not great, not terrible. I would recommend! Also: Ruka and the area is beautiful.

I've been coming here for the last 15 years now. Rooms and breakfast is great. Staff super friendly and helpful. If you are hiking the Karhunkierros trail then this is the place to stay. Definitely when your finishing in Ruka and want to get to that shower asap. ;-)

Perfectly located for all of my needs, each morning breakfast served was perfect and night they also had dinner was sufficient after a long day shredding gnar. Staff were nice and respectful and cleaned the room daily.

Not the properties fault but the snow groomers kept be up some nights. But I suppose that’s because it’s so close the the ski runs

The location is great. Breakfast was more modest than in previous years.

A big problem is the parking at Scandic Ruka. First of all, there are no free parking spaces, the hotel does not have its own parking lot, and guests are in a situation where there is nowhere to park their car. In addition, there is a lack of parking arrangements. Every day dozens of people got parking ticket, because the markings of the parking lot are not correct, the scheme at the reception of the Scandic Ruka hotel is also not in accordance with the parking arrangement of the parking lot, and so the situation is misleading for the customer.

Great view from the room! Excellent location where you just exit the hotel and you're at the chair lift. Usual eggs/bacon/yogurt/oats breakfast options, albeit really good.

renovated room with usb chargers and clothes dryer! very good breakfast. right by the lift, the lockers for snowboards and wax table included. sauna work until 21:00. free parking. close to everything

bed sheets seem to be old, i felt like my hands are always dusty

The food was great in the morning and a great addition because it forced us to wake up early and arrive on time to the ski lift before the crowds.The free parking is right besides a ski slope, which makes it very easy to reach your car in case you need something. The ski storage is also next to the same ski slope, so you can take your skis and jump on them the next second.

The room sound insulation was bad. Thankfully the neighbours mainly talked, but you could hear in all directions thumbs and people walking. But we didn't spend much time in the room so it's fine. The rooms were also on the older side, so some renovation would be great on that part.

Facility is quite outdated. Beds are not very comfortable and the only option was a twin bed.

I liked that there was a clothes drying machine in the room. Such a useful device if you do outdoor activities and I wish it was in each hotel.The location is also perfect - no need to drive anywhere, just go outside and you are already on a skiing track.

For some reason there was a cold air coming from ventilation and there was no way to stop it.

Most amazing breakfast buffet ever!! Healthy options, vegan options, all you can expect from a perfect breakfast with a view to the ski slopes!

I wish the sauna was open longer hours, 5-9pm made unpractical to use it.

The ski lift is situated just next to the Hotel. The Buffet breakfast is quite extensive and the staff is very welcoming. Free paking.

Breakfast was fantastic! Location could not be better in the heart of Ruka.

Room was slightly worn out and would need renovation to make it shine again.

The stay was nice, calm, well equipped room, the place is near to the ski lifts, good breakfast, sauna ❤️ and helpful staff! ?

My room was in another building it is connected to main building, but it is a little challenge to get to the room with all your baggage and snowboard, because of stairs, with no lift, but guy from the staff helped me, thanks to him I’ve reached my room!

The location and the resort was magic. The breakfast was delicious with a many varities for all the tastes. The room was clean and recently renovated.

For going to the room we have had to pass through all over the hotel.

Hotel right near to village ski lift. Outdoor storage room too to keep your skis and boards out of your room. Breakfast was nice with a decent variety. We were given a newly renovated room upon request - it was modern, clean, overlooking the ski slopes. It was amazing!!

Fresh mugs and tea bags were not provided when the room was cleaned - but the room was absolutely lovely, so easy to overlook this very minor point.

Breakfast was pretty good with decent amount of vegan options. Dining area was very spacious and clean. Location is quite accessible via public bus. Staff is excellent and knowledgeable about the area and dining options.

We paid extra to upgrade our rooms to the main building as it has lifts for our luggage but the window view was so-so.
