Hotel Bramante

While we were in the company of friends in Todi and did not spend a lot of time at the hotel, our interactions with the staff were wonderful. While the hotel was dealing with a wedding, they were always attentive to any request.

The location close to the medieval city of Todi and the amazing staff

The property needs a heavy refurbishment and to keep up with the basic maintenance tasks. The four stars are quite an optimistic evaluation and so the value for money. Also, property pictures on Booking.com need to be brought up to date

Staff were absolutely wonderful, worked incredibly hard and were helpful. Especially Luigi and Francesca. Made the stay.

The views, the pool, the food and the staff

The breakfast was good and our room was away from the wedding party.

Staff reception was somewhat unhelpful. Large wedding party meant pool was closed early and little notice. Outside temp around 40 degrees!

Attractive interior, lovely views , great pool with plenty of sun beds short distance from the centre .

Wedding music on both the Friday and Saturday went on until 2am, there was no warning before hand, in addition we paid a premium price for those nights

Very poor

The property is very tired. Beautiful building and location but desperately in need of renovation. We hosted a cocktail party at Bramante for 35 guests the night before our wedding. A number of our guests stayed at Bramante. We needed to cancel one of the rooms that we had reserved. We notified them 3 days prior to the reservation. Bramante charged us a cancellation fee. After explaining that we had multiple guests staying at their hotel as well as hosting a party 35 we thought surely they would waive the cancellation fee. They not only didn’t waive the cancellation fee but actually charged me for the unused room. In addition, the food and presentation at the cocktail party was just mediocre.P.S. The rest of our guests stayed at Roccafiore and everything was wonderful!!

Ambiance and breakfast

The room was extremely hot since they turn the a/c off during the day which is not good when you are getting ready for a wedding.

A beautiful location, close to Todi centre. Very helpful staff. Lovely amenities, cosy lobby and room. Arranged a move to another room with our baby after a bit of a noisy party which we appreciated.Super pool and terrace.

Nice large pool area and right in the centre of Todi.

A little tired but not bad for the price.

Breakfast was great - wide choice catered for those who were gluten intolerant, wonderful location to sit and look over the mountains and greenery, location perfect to get to old town within 5 mins, elevator right by the hotel for those with difficulty walking, room very nice with little balcony.

the air-con didnt work very well but it was exceptionally hot. we found the bathroom to be a bit dirty - a razor blade was left on the shelf by the mirror. the dinner was really lovely at the hotel restaurant but rather overpriced.

Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.Decor was gorgeous, very colourful yet tasteful. Lovely swimming pool.

There was a lot of noise one night in the room next door however when we contacted reception, then disturbance was dealt with straight away.

the bathroom - it was very tight to move in the shower. and get in and out of the bathroom. The room could do with a mirror on the wall and more plug sockets.

It is a lovely hotel, the views are amazing! Good swimming pool, nice bar area. The breakfast was decent - pastries, meats, cheese, omlettes etc with lots of juice and coffee available.The lunch was also very yummy with a small menu you can pick from.I didn’t eat dinner in the hotel so cannot comment.The pool area was nice, lots of sunbeds and chairs with umbrellas and the pool bar had ice creams you could buy.The rooms were basic but the beds were comfortable and it had aircon.It is walking distance to a few restaurants and the church nearby and you can get a free shuttle busy up the hill to todi which comes every 10mins or so.

However, they don’t accept card payments which means you have to put everything on your room and you are whacked with a massive bill. And anyone can put anything onto your room number too.The staff can be a bit slow too. When the bars/restaurant are busy there was only ever 1 person serving. At some points, one person was doing the bar and reception at the same time.The staff weren’t always the friendliest either. One time I asked the receptionist/bar man if I could get a drink as the bar closes at 1 or 2am and it was 12am so it was still open and he huffed at me and basically told me off for asking saying I could only have one more - even though I am paying for it…. Same with the pool bar, they do look at you a bit funny when your order drinks as if they are judging.The rooms were okay - had a deluxe room which was nice enough but compared to the classic room there wasn’t much difference but yet way more expensive. My friend had a suite and even that probably wasn’t worth it overall.It is a lovely hotel though and very authentic.

We asked for vegan breakfast - and that was very poor. Our daugther who's intolerant to alle animal products (a special enzym) couldn't have breakfast and we had to buy our own. I think you had vegan croissants day 2 of our stay, and that was all - the waiter didn't know the difference between vegetarian and vegan.

You had a wedding at the hotel at the same time - and they occupied the pool with loud music - you should consider closing the hotel during the party.

The room was just fine although the shower booth was a little tight and inclined to throw water onto the floor when you first turned it on. The Breakfasts were really good with lovely omelettes and good coffee. The location was simply beautiful and the pool and pool bar were quite splendid. Drinks and the buffet on the terrace were excellent with a lovely breeze and the outside dining area was beautiful.The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The buffet lunch on the Sunday was a little disappointing and rather expensive. The food service at the pool was quite slow and it seemed that the kitchen couldn't really cope with the numbers but this was understandable with so much going on. The staff did their best and we really appreciated their efforts.

This hotel is outstanding! Super charming. Great location in Todi. Food was outstanding. Super fresh. The staff were all super nice and I felt like family here. The pool is super clean and fresh. So calm and quiet here. Perfect spot for a getaway.
