    Pros +

    • Nice breakfast, cozy interior and wonderful staff.
    • Beautiful place and wonderful rooms. Excellent breakfast, loved it.
    • Wow! What an awesome little boutique hotel and restaurant tucked among the wineries of Todi! The beautifully decorated period rooms are built into a medieval tower surrounded by an enchanting romantic garden. As soon as you walk in, the owner Rosary, her right-hand Franco, Chef Claudia, and all their lovely staff treated us and our little dachshund with such genuine enthusiasm and care that we felt like royalty staying in a castle. Our room was exquisitely furnished with antiques yet very comfortable and accessible. The AC worked well but you could also open the windows because they have screens and enjoy the cool night air with a perfect cross breeze. There's even an elevator. The food was delicious - zucchini flowers were delicately prepared, the bean soup was flavorful, and the wild boar with polenta and truffle pasta were authentic regional dishes we tried for the first time. Dessert and breakfast were scrumptious too! Their wine list was extensive. Everything was reasonably priced too. We really enjoyed our day and night at Torre Sangiovanni da Rosary and hope to return soon.

    Cons -

    • Room on 2nd Floor was great, except the conversations could be heard from the lobby until late night just before midnight.
    • We loved everything ?
    • 2 days were too short, I wish I could stay longer.

Amazing place. Beautiful big room.Delicious restaurant in the hotel. Excellent service. This is my second time visiting this place.

2 days were too short, I wish I could stay longer.

Location was great, stunning old building.

Staff unhelpful with a simple request that would have been easy to accomplish. Smell of cigarette smoke everywhere, staff and owners making noise into the small hours of the night. Air conditioner that didn’t work.

    7RodneyPosted on: 9-9-2024

Breakfast was adequate had a fair selection evening meal was good.

I thought the Beer was very expensive, we were woken up early by workmen with a loud compressor and banging.

    7TheresaPosted on: 9-2-2024

It was clean. The food you paid for was very good and they had an excellent beer that we were not able to find anywhere else. Rooms were nice and big. Staff was very nice but a bit hard to communicate if you didn’t speak Italian.

The a/c was not working very well in all the suites, wasn’t just ours as we had friends in other units and they complained about the same thing. Breakfast was sufficient but not enough eggs for everyone. The pictures made the property look bigger than it actually was.

Beautiful historical characteristic property. Restaurant on site. Fabulous and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Close to Todi.

Shower door was hard to open and close.GPS could not find.

Cozy and warm atmosphere including a very personal welcome from the staff. Loved the convenience of a restaurant onsite. Make sure to slip out the rear entrance of the lobby for a little walk around the community!

It’s a little difficult to find but there are small signs once you get close so look for them

I know this place as a restaurant for many years and this time I didn't want to do sightseeing but relax after a good dinner in this quiet place. My room was very nice, with many antique pieces and furniture but all very comfortable and with good taste arranged. Bed, aircon, bathroom all to my convenience. I was in the main building therfore an elevator brought me to my second floor room. Parking is opposite the structure

    Nothing to complain about

    Comfort, views and charm.

Not a lot of sunlight in the room.

    10LauraPosted on: 6-20-2024

Lovely and charming hotel in modernized ancient building- like sleeping in a bit of history. (With an elevator!) Charming and helpful multilingual staff, easy parking onsite. Delicious dinner in the restaurant. All excellent value for money. Wish we could have stayed longer and would be delighted to go back.

    8JohnPosted on: 6-8-2024

Lovely building and loved the arrow slits in our room - glazed, luckily. Very large room. Excellent breakfasts and superb cooking for the dinners. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The lift was a bonus for our heavy cases and the car park was very convenient.

Disappointed with the location and would have liked more views of countryside from the terrace - but that is a minor consideration when staying in such a superb building.

We were upgraded to an apartment just next to the hotel. It was really cozy and warm. Bathroom in excellent conditions. Nice buffet breakfast. Large parking lot just in from of the hotel

Not the hotel's fault: Google maps led us to the back entrance, through a small alley. There is a very nice parking lot right in front of the tower though. Dinner at the hotel was very good.

    9DebraPosted on: 12-29-2023

The staff was welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our dinner as well. The room was comfortable and spacious enough.

There is nothing about not to like a stay in a revamped 11 th century castle.Just WOW and we would love to go back there one day. The food and staff are exceptional. The decor-outstandingly delicious and is a treat in itself.Todi is the feed in town. Totally medieval and a must visit in Italy

How could anyone not live this property!!

Lovely old historical building. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to Todi and surrounds. Breakfast was adequate, especially the delicious apricot torte and good coffee.
