    • Beautiful castle, pool and views,
    • Found this hidden gem on a last minute internet search. From the moment we approached the property we were in aww .the staff were great and the property was outstanding .
    • The historic property was beautiful and unique. Loved the tower for an amazing view

    Cons -

    • Our lunch ran out when we were informed the restaurant wasn't open that day .
    • Beds were a bit hard
    • Our room was worn looking (walls and furniture)and in need of renovating and replacement. Not what we expected. Upon arrival, we found out the restaurant was fully booked, which we thought was odd for its hotel guests. It is overpriced.

Beautiful and interesting hotel in an old castle. Gorgeous views of the countryside from an outdoor terrace. The breakfast was excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The location was stunning, beautiful views and pool

The AC wasn’t working and it was summer we stayed for 3 nights, no soap on the bathroom, mini bar was empty we have to ask for water and drinks.

It was really beautiful, clean and the staff was really nice. Ate at the restaurant overlooking the Tuscan hills.

They offered a nice breakfast, views surrounding the property were beautiful.

It was further from Siena than we realized. It was hard to bring the luggage to the 2nd floor. Our bedroom had a bathroom on another higher level, hard to access in the middle of the night and there was no A/C in the bathroom which made it extremely hot on the upper level. There was no mirror in the main bedroom that had A/C, so I couldn’t style my hair or apply makeup there, only in the hot bathroom.

Beautiful location: you can enjoy peace and quiet and easily reach Siena by car.

Some rooms are a bit outdated. We had a very large room but the bathroom was quite old and we had to ask the staff to fix a couple of things.

First the location is amazing. The view and setting from the outdoor dinning area is Tuscan perfection. There are considerable issues with the room vs how it is presented online and how the staff dealt with our concerns.

We booked a Classic Room. Online it said the room is large. This was a gross exaggeration. There was barely space to put our 1 shared suitcases. Good thing we didn’t bring 1 each. There was a closet but it was 1/2 size and resembled something a young Harry Potter slept in. So unusable for us. When we raised our concern a request to change rooms the front desk was very dismissive. They eventually moved us on our last night. The restaurant is excellent. Pricey but food was delicious. We had 2 dinners there. Sublime setting. We could have sat there all evening as the sun went down over the Tuscan hills. Downside was their Pandora subscription. Guess they went with the free version. Perfect dinner appropriate music interrupted every few minutes with blaring advertisements.

Beautiful property and wonderful breakfast. Unfortunately I did not make it to dinner. The staff was friendly and helpful.

There was no air conditioner as advertised and it was a bit warm.

The hotel is off the beaten track. It was so peaceful. The views are spectacular. The room was very nice. Good linens. The fridge and waters were much appreciated. The restaurant was good. Beautiful historic buildings.

It felt a little early in the season and like some of the facilities weren’t really open properly. But it wouldn’t put us off staying again.

Amazing location and views! Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful property. Excellent breakfast.

    10DavidPosted on: 4-15-2025

Perfect location with uniquely Tuscan view from the outdoor seated area. You know you're arriving somewhere special when you turn off the road and drive up the cypress lined track with billows of white dust in your rear view mirror. Staff were both friendly and highly professional. Restaurant was excellent, if a little pricey. Breakfast room and food were exceptional.

    No kettle in room

The location is fantastic for a quiet relaxing time with lovely panorama, and easy access to Sienna.I read other reviews before I arrived, and they mentioned how friendly and helpful the staff are, and this is so true. Given we only had a couple of days to explore, Roxana was so helpful and knowledgeable, giving us excellent advice on how to maximize our time, thank you! The restaurant has a lovely ambience and would be even better in the summer being able to eat outside overlooking the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

The fabulous big bedroom and giant bed!! I also liked the restaurant, although the cuisine was touching the avant-garde.

The weather!! We were unlucky as it rained most of the time we were there!

    10ValeriePosted on: 11-5-2024

Staff was extremely kind/attentive. Location was quiet/secluded. Breakfast was excellent as were the attendants. Staff even prepared coffee and pastries to go for our departure early on our check out day.

We did not experience the restaurant as the operating hours were very limited. Just 90 minutes a day. Would have given it a try if it had been an option to eat outside on the patio but the weather was a bit cool.

    9AmirPosted on: 10-26-2024

The hotel is in a restored historical building in a pastoral area with amazing views, the rooms we received were well equipped even though the floor was made of stone, it was heated and growling .outside it was raining and it was cold and the rooms were warm and pleasant, the beds were wide and comfortable some would say too soft, the bathroom was well equipped and warm. The breakfast was delicious and rich,if there were more vegetables in the it could be perfect in my opinion.we also had dinner in the hotel restaurant, a delicious meal.

    We only stayed one night

Beautiful food and place to stay ?

Found the rooms very dark and it would have be nice to be able to make a cup of tea in the room

    4MaddiePosted on: 10-7-2024

The staff were nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The first woman who checked us in (I forget her name!) was very lovely and the highlight of the stay.

We had an issue with the hot water in our room which we were told someone would look at then never heard about again. The hotel is fine (clean, comfortable and nice staff) but feels very dated and lacking the extra touches that makes something feel 4 stars.

The breakfast might've been the only thing I liked and even that, was just ok

We accidentally booked this place for two nights and upon arrival at what they called a castle, reception was not helpful, would not even refund our 2nd night. There really is no bar, it's a tiny little shed, and a man that may or may not bring you a drink. We didn't try the restaurant after looking at the menu. The closest town is a pit hole with nothing in it, but Sienna is about 25 minutes. The rooms? Dark and dingy(expected in a "castle") but really nothing what they appear to be on their website. I will grant them one thing, we visited the 1st week in Oct. So maybe that's not the right time? The only friendly person was the guy who helped us to our room. There's literally nothing to see at this location other than dirt fields and a few pheasants.
