Cortona Resort-Le Terre Dei Cavalieri

Room was beautiful and roomy … our hosts Silvia and Pietro were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also great … atmosphere, service, and food.The property also has an interesting history.

Beautiful country setting in the Tuscan countryside near Cortona. We had a ground floor room off a comfortable shared sitting room and kitchen. The restaurant alone is worth the trip.

We liked everything.

The breakfast and dinner were great. The food was fantastic. The views and surroundings are stunning. Great country side feeling to relax. The pool area is beautiful, though the pool is not heated. It is a very nice resort as long as you are looking for a relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Cortona is quite in the middle of the way to Montepulciano and Sienna, making it possible to drive to those places as day trips.

We had to climb two flights of stairs to our suite and after that one more flight to the bedroom. So the main room was upstairs, and the bathroom downstairs, which is not a very convenient location if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. We were not aware we would be given this room.

So much character and charm. Beautiful setting and yet a quick drive to Cortona. The restaurant was outstanding.

Loved the outdoor eating and pool and bar.The scenery is beautiful surrounding the area.

Only 2 small things: 1. More storage space in the bathroom for your things. 2. More outdoor space to use in the evening for after dinner drinks and conversation.

It is perfectly positioned in Tuscany. It has a very helpful staff. It is beautiful. The restaurant is lovely. The pool & bar are the cherry upon the gelato!

AC isn’t sufficient in Bruno suite in mid July. It was around 78-80 degrees F. They happily accommodated our request for a fan. It helped to move the air… 76-78 degrees F which was sufficient. Limited menu choices for my wife who likes a more vegetarian meal. I thought it was perfect.

The location and views are gorgeous. The pool and garden are big enough. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant is amazing. Dog friendly!

Couldn’t fit the dyson airwrap in the socket in our room. And we didnt like the toiletpaper.

The place is so beautiful and peaceful you don’t want to leave. The staff is super charming. Breakfast is very complete but dinner at their restaurant was amazing!

- The entire place as well as the rooms are very beautiful, very clean and in perfect condition. - Breakfast is rich and you can get almost everything there.- All staff is kind and helpful. We had to leave very early on our last day and they even prepared breakfast to go for us! - The restaurant in the evening is serving dishes, which are something special! They taste good and looks amazing. This is really a special place. You will love it!

- It would be perfectly to have some vegetables (e.g. tomatos, cucumber) at the breakfast

Great location and great place to stay if you want a quite place to enjoy Tuscany. The restaurant in the resort is very good.

To point at something, the terrace of our room was shared and our neighbor was smoking at all times which was a bit annoying. It will be good to restrict smoking to only outside the premises.

We really enjoyed our stay! Our room was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Location close to Cortona. We would definitely stay again when in the area!

Nothing. You do drive down a dirt road to get there but that was not a problem for us.

Beautiful views of the valley with the sunflowers. Great location, very accesible to move around in Tuscany, we were able to drive for less than an hour to Siena, Arezzo, Perugia

Terre dei Cavalieri is a totally renovated farmhouse, with ample rooms, bathrooms, beautiful swimming pool area, very good restaurant. Excellent location to visit Cortona and adjacent areas in Tuscany and Umbria. Everything clean and organized. Restaurant was fully booked on Saturday night, local people like the place and the food.

Minor point: stretch of 1/2 km of gravel road.

Marvelous, charming, quaint little inn located in the valley in Fretta under Cortona. Surrounded be sunflower fields, this place is the definition of idyllic. Tuscan farmhouse and buildings that are hundreds of years old that were nicely remodeled but retain that unique Tuscan rustic feel. Staff is nice, (Thomas was particularly helpful) and the property is so well maintained. Nice breakfast every morning but it could easily get a bit repetitive if you are here for awhile. The restaurant is amazing. Two wonderful dinners. If you have never been to Cortona and want to escape to the Tuscan countryside, I highly recommend this property.

Bed and pillows could be more comfortable.

Upon arrival, Marcella made every effort to accomodate the needs of two in our party that had difficulty climbing stairs.She was most gracious and helpful. We appreciated her efforts on their behalf.

It would have been perfect if we could have had a ground floor room.

We loved our elegantly furnished spacious room. The staff were outstanding, the restaurant excellent and the pool and beautiful surroundings made for a wonderfully relaxing stay.

Absolutely nothing

Beautiful surrounding of the hotel, we were Lucky enough to be there during sunflowers blossom, Room was spacious, pool lovely with pergolas and open bar with drinks and ice creams. We had dinner one evening at the resort’s restaurant which was really good ,the house Wine was also good.Hotel guests was mostly families with kids.

Beautiful rooms and great staff. We liked that we could have a light lunch and drinks by the pool.

A litle bit to hot inn the room during the night.
