Nikis Resort

Excellent breakfast, very kind and efficient staff, excellent food quality, very nice location.

The road to reach the location: really rough and with a very poor maintenance. Not referred to the location itself but to be considered

The resort is a small boutique facility in a beautiful location in the Umbrian countryside with breathtaking views. The staff are wonderful and breakfast, lunch, and dinner were delicious. We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed it

The only downside is that the resort is located about 4 km up a winding twisting very narrow road. Strongly recommend having dinner at the resort to avoid driving this road at night. This is not a hardship as the food and menu are great.

The room was nice and clean . Good breakfast.Nothing more . Sorry ,can’t call this place a resort . Yes ,It has luxury and expensive restaurant and outside bathtub and sauna that located somewhere .. 100 meters from the main house and costs 120 € for 3 people for hour! ..But i felt a big gap between this high class services and the quality of the room we stayed in . The mattresses are terrible, the bed is squeaking from every move . The second bedroom instead of two single beds like it says in booking had a sofa bed ! And it has no AC . So I don’t know how it feels in summer. We had to restart the router many times to get the wifi to second bedroom and still it was not enough for a strong connection. In conclusion it felt like a simple agricultural house with simple facilities, pool , stinky bugs in a room and amazing view all around . Like thousands in this area of Italy .

The setting of the resort is absolutely breathtaking. The meals were delicious and the staff are amazing.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like or enjoy. The only suggestion would be to have more food options as it is a bit of a trek to go into town. Also, provide more water in rooms.

Beautiful scenery in the Umbrian hills. The property itself is magnificent and well maintained. Friendly and professional staff, nothing was too much to ask. Excellent food available and extensive list of wines.

We stayed at nikis resort this year for the second time. The location is wonderful and the rooms modern, big and clean for a good price.The dinner is really good but we suffered a lot the waiting times. We started at 19 15 and finished 3 hours later. Too much. I found it also quite expensive because at the end I was still hungry. The breakfast is not at the same level of the dinner: the cheese / ham and bread are not of the best quality and also the jam and honey are commercial. I was expecting more . Moreover, they serve breakfast starting from 8 30 which is too late for most of the people that have many activities planned

We had a truly wonderful stay at Nikis Resort. The location is absolutely stunning – peaceful, scenic, and perfect for relaxation. The rooms were cozy, beautifully designed, and very clean.What really stood out to us was the incredibly kind and attentive staff – everyone made us feel welcome and taken care of. Breakfast was delicious, and the overall atmosphere of the resort is warm and charming.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene getaway in Italy. We would love to come back again!

Stunning location—perfect for a family getaway! The property features two outdoor swimming pools, a golf green, and beautifully renovated accommodations. It exceeded our expectations. What we enjoyed the most was the outstanding cuisine—amazing flavors at a very reasonable price. We definitely need to go back in summer! Also the service needs to be awarded becauseit was excellent

We were simply amazed. The location is stunning, clean and quiet with a fantastic restaurant offering an excellent menu and breakfast.The staff is exceptional, kind, welcoming, and highly knowledgeable about food, wine, and the history of the resort.I’ve been to many places, but this one is truly something special!

The dining room was lovely and the service impeccable. Breakfast was varied and substantial. We ate dinner 3 out of 4 evenings. Each dish we were presented with was an artistic creation. The 4th night we drove down the long narrow winding road to the main road and found a more casual less expensive restaurant at the Country Hotel Poggiomanente. We probably should have done that another night as well. Nikis is the perfect place to get away from it all or have a romantic weekend. We were probably not their targeted clientele.

The weather!

Amazing location, beautiful scenery, generous and varied breakfast and 3 lovely & attentive ladies serving us. The suite was generously proportioned, beds were comfy and housekeeping did a great job keeping it clean and comfortable for us. Wi-fi was spot on. There were lots of other facilities we didn't have access to as we were there mid December-but during the warmer seasons I think it would likely provide everything necessary for a perfect holiday.

The drive up to the property which was long, undulating & a bit scary in the dark-definitely need a 4-wheel drive.A couple of things in the room that didn't work properly and not many plugs.

Everything. The place, the view, the nature, the food, the staff. They were all amazing. This place is a true gem. The restaurant offers the best food experience. The staff was the best - friendly, smart, available to help. The nature around is exuberant. The location is on the top of a hill, easily to get there with car, not too far from the main road. The room and bathroom were clean, big and beautiful.

The only thing I can think of is the shower that has a glass without a door so the water splashes outside os the shower and since the bathroom is kind of a good size, it would be nicer to have glass door to keep the warmth of the shower.

The location is magnificent, high above with spectacular views of the wineyards & valley. The owner and his staff is so hospitable & friendly. We had breakfast included which was both hot & cold options. Dinner is not to be missed. Truly a gastronomical experience. The choices & flavors for the vegetarian options were one of the best I’ve had in Italy. Room and bathroom were large and very clean. Two queen beds, which we only used one & it was very comfortable.

Room was really clean, but wished the decor could have been a bit more upscale, but that should not deter you from selecting this hotel.

Everything! The room was spacious and clean. The views are just breathtaking. The staff was friendly and great! The food in the restaurant (including breakfasts) was delicious.

Beautiful setting, amazing food and a relaxing atmosphere.

We had the tasting menu on the first night, so by the 2nd night there wasn’t really anything new for us to try on the menu but the food we did have was excellent. Staff were all very kind and friendly.
