Hotel Grand Jasna

The rooms were newly renovated and very comfortable, good size. The bed was especially comfy.

The lighting in the lobby/ lobby bar was cold, not a good atmosphere.

The wellness area was big and the saunas were great. We also enjoyed the (almost) free GoPass ticket for the gondola to Chopok.

We like everything: location, the room was equipped with everything we requested, cleaning hotel, friendly staff, ski passes included to the price, very good meal

The location is good, close to the cable car. Breakfast was good

The staff was pretty rude. Considering the price our expectations were higher about the hotel. Not a good value for money.

The ski in/ski out location with the ease of having a locker and rental options in the hotel, are what make this a great option. Also the spa and outdoor hot tub after a long ski day is wonderful. Also the Christmas dinner was very good.

The price is almost four times what it was last year! As were the crowds. Making it closer to prices in Austria now, without the higher elevation and city center atmosphere.

Nice but a bit small room for 3 ppl (3rd bed was more like a low level bed) placed next to normal size bed. Bed frame is metal made

The room wasn’t well soundproofed, the was noice coming from the hotel corridor, the window didn’t close properly, cold air was coming in from outside, and when the wind blew strongly the window would move

The hotel is good, rooms nice, perfect breakfast buffet. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to test the pool/welness. Cable car and aquaparks included in the price make it more affordable at the end.

I paid price found by booking.com for my family, but they said it is for smaller children and I had to pay extra 19€/night/child. Surcharges for everything. Small fitness room. No à la carte for a dinner, just 25€ fix price buffet, and no other open restaurants nearby.

We were a family of 5 adults and 1 child. The location was absolutely spot on, very close to the ski lifts which made life easier with a child. The ski hire shop at the hotel was very friendly and helpful and sorted us out straight away. Ski passes were included in the hotel price and given to us on check in. The rooms were very clean and neat and comfortable for our 5 night stay. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were very attentive. A great varied choice for adults and children and the coffee was good. The boot room was very accessible with secure lockers and boot drying fans. I would suggest that this hotel suited families and children the most. The buffet dinner was great and varied and we used this for one night but we prefer a la carte so we chose to eat out the other nights.

For us the bar area was a bit too chaotic with children running around. They do offer an adults only section but this was always full. It was no problem though as there were other hotels and bars very local that we went to. Again the buffet was busy with lots of children which is great for families with lots of kids. We preferred something a bit quieter so opted to eat off site.

We wanted to escape Christmas a bit, and this was a very good decision. The hotel is located right next to the ski lift, and it has nice wellness focusing more on sauna, steam baths. The deluxe rooms were nice and a food was good, especially tasty on the 24th. Everyone was very nice and friendly from the staff, I fully recommend this place.

At the breakfast the juices (3 or 4) were very basic, maybe having just orange juice instead but a higher quality would be better.

Convenient location, all the skiing facilities are in close proximity, nice spa area with 2 outdoor jacuzzi, lobby bar offers nice selection of drinks and snacks

The breakfast selection was quite limited and barely changed day from day. The dinner was available only as a buffet version, where quality/price was not matching. I was missing a regular a la carte restaurant for lunch and dinner.

The hotel is located very close to the ski lift, ski equipment storage easily accessible and has a dryer. The breakfast and dinner was amazing.

I don’t know if service just isn’t a thing in Slovakia but didn’t have a single good service experience in 5 days. Not one member of staff interested in delivering on expectations. Service ahead of arrival was painful when asking questions through booking.com. Hotel food offerings really not good and closest grocery store is a €25 taxi ride away (€50 return). Chaps in hotel ski rental quite gruff. No kettle in room.
