The view

The views was the only positive thing about the hotel. Other than that, RUN!

Extremely disappointing experience. The phones in the room did not work, and the bed was so uncomfortable it was impossible to get proper sleep. The hotel outright misled us about the air conditioning—despite advertising it as available, it is shut off entirely during winter, which was never disclosed. Staff responses were poorly timed and unhelpful. Housekeeping entered our room without knocking on the first morning, which is completely unacceptable and a serious privacy issue. Despite all these problems, the hotel refused to offer breakfast or any compensation. This stay showed a clear lack of professionalism, honesty, and respect for guests.

Breakfast Buffet

The entire hotel closes down at 8pm. The indoor pool is actually a “spa pool” and not meant for everyone and their kids to be in it, yet it was overcrowded with kids. The beds are low and uncomfortable. The staff is average. You will hear kids screaming and yelling while running up and down the hallways all night long. The front desk does nothing about it no matter how many times you complain. VERY LOUD! There are no restaurants or shops open near the hotel past 8pm. Taxi to the city center is a 20 minute ride away.

The quality and choice of the food. The location, the size of the rooms, the cleanliness.

The bedrooms do not have any windows. The personnel at the reception was not always friendly. The first room we received was not in a good condition and also the second one had a broken bidet and the heating in the bathroom was not working.

Too expensive.The apartment was very badly designed. Sleeping rooms had no windows.I was waiting in front of the reception desk with my crying child for about 15 minutes and nobody came to answer me.

We loved our stay at the Aparthotel Fontanellos! It is located right on the beach and the facilities are beautiful. We had a penthouse suite and really enjoyed spending time on the rooftop terrace overlooking the beach. The hotel is very close to the airport (10 minutes) and you can easily access Palma's Old Town by bus (20 minutes). The buffet breakfast was delicious and offered so many options. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful beachfront hotel, close to many restaurants. The pool and beach are nice. We like sitting by the pool area and eating food from the pool bar. Reasonable prices in the hotel restaurants/bars. There was a show every night, including a Flamenco show. Room is nicely appointed though bedrooms were small. Living areas were nice and spacious.

Balcony was huge with a great view and had a hot tub, but the hot tub was not clean. The umbrella also had a lock so we couldn’t really stay in the balcony for too long without shade. Not too many tour offerings (e.g. city tours, etc.) and staff wasn’t knowledgeable about tours available other than the few they know.

Wow wow wow! We were completely blown away with the style and elegance of this place.I’ll first start by saying the food was absolutely delicious and extravagant for the half board option. We had the best selection of food everyday and the chefs and staff were very friendly and very good. The reception desk can all speak at least 3 languages which impressed us. They were helping people fluently in German, then in English and then Spanish. They were very friendly and helpful. As we went to our room, the sea view just blew us away. We had a double bedroom by the entry and the kids slept on the very comfy sofa bed. They kitchenette was such a cherry on top. We could make food for lunch or keep some drinks and milk cold in the fridge. There were even enough pots and pans to make a whole family dinner if needed. The beach bar and restaurant by the pool had the best cocktails I’ve ever had. You could sit down to drink and dine or take a drink with you to the pool in a plastic cup. The best part was that they were open most evenings too to have a sundowner and relax after your amazing dinner. The location is absolutely perfect. Only 10mins and €15 from the airport. The most beautiful white sandy beach and best promenade to walk for miles on too. We fell in love with Palma and Aparthotel Fontanellas playa made sure of it.

Location and standard of the room were both fantastic, the restaurant food is varied and beautifully presented and of course very tasty.

The whole hotel smelt like a hospital, even in the breakfast room the tables were sprayed with a very heavy disinfectant. Disgusting. The staff were very arrogant, and didn’t have a clue about anything!

The location is steps from the ocean, which is fantastic. The hotel has 2 pools, restaurants, and each room is equipped with everything you need. The staff is friendly and helpful.
