Hm Gran Fiesta

Room is clean.

The room is cold. There is no heat. I was told to have more blankets to keep warm. No parking space. Need to find it by myself. I walked 500m with my luggeges to get to the hotel.

The room was bright and full of light. We had an incredibly polite cleaning lady who took care of us and the room like a mother or like auntie would. I didn’t feel like I was in a hotel at all.

The location was fabulous - right across the street from the beach, beautiful views of the ocean. Also the facilities were great - a gorgeous pool on the roof where there were delicious cocktails and a gorgeous view of the sunset. Also the pool downstairs had ample loungers and food available during the day. Rooms were clean and bright and comfortable. The buffet breakfast had lots of options and the food was good.

It was a little bit pricey, but I imagine this is may be normal for this location and for the services. You have to pay extra to use the loungers on the beach across from the hotel.

The AC in the lobby was not working for the entirety of our stay, and to top it off it wreaked of sewage/sulfur. Our first night there they gave our room away to other people. Luckily we ran into them just as they were about to enter our room around midnight our first night (our keys were deactivated), however this is a serious security concern that we were not accommodated for. We had valuables and our passports in that room (neither of which were secured because the safe in our room was not working). Not to mention our friends who were also staying at the hotel had a similar situation upon arrival where the room they were assigned was already taken and they walked in on the person staying there. To top it all off, on the third day of our stay, the water stopped running throughout the entire hotel, with no warnings or apologies issued. We had an event to prepare for and this threw a huge wrench in our preparations, after which they notified us that the water would not be running the following day from 12-5. Inconvenience after inconvenience (to put it mildly) with no accommodations, apologies or reimbursements issued.

Loved the Sky Bar pool area. Staff was amazing.

Certainly being beachfront is huge plus. 2 beds 1 umbrella for 18€ is a Barghain. The Beach Bar has a nice vibe and the ladies working there are extremely skilled and fast.

The smell of seaweed within the premises is unbereable. The management should certainly look at possibilities to resolve the issue. It is mainly on the lobby but also on every floor. Apologies, but it is unacceptable.

Good location

First room, we were given, had not been cleaned. The second room we were given, after turning on the AC and waiting about an hour, the room continued to get warmer during the day. called the front desk, and they reported that the hotel did not have functioning AC, and would not for several days.

The breakfast was good, but some food was not freshly prepared. I've missed some spices to add to cereals, like cinnamon and cardamom. Also, there was a lot of salami, and fish (salmon) was served for only two days, so this is something to improve.

We didn't like a transparent wall between the shower and bedroom because there is not enough privacy. We asked for a late checkout on our last day, but the staff told us that we had to ask in the morning on the last day (so we had to pack our luggage in the evening without knowing whether we could stay at the hotel or not). In the morning, they told us that we couldn't have a late check-out because the hotel was full (but it was not!), and the staff seemed to have made no effort to make it possible.

The hotel is nice, 3 pools, indoor was very handy as too cold in April to use the other 2 pools. But the indoor pool area a bit grubby and not a wellness area. Fine for little kids.Food was fine but I've had much better in other hotels. Nice quiet hotel, beach across the road. If you have kids a resort hotel would be better. Bus really handy for Palma, Fan shopping centre 10 mins away. Outlet mall 20 mins in taxi (check they are open before you go).

Our room smelled of sewage on and off, staff not enough english to understand or care. There was a smell also in the bar, I suspect the hotel has a sewerage problem in general. I don't rate the room service, my sons sheets were wet and they just remade the bed wet. Told them about the smell and they started cleaning the toilet, i said no its under the floor not the toilet, he said oh and left. Never came back, no follow up. No coffee in the room, no milk creamers either.

The stay at the hotel was really enjoyable, the room was big and comfortable. Otherwise, we would have preferred the daily cleaning be more thorough, as the staff did not change our towels over a stay of 5 days and only made the bed each time they passed by.

The check in was regular no issues however I had a premium room which includes certain percs like Late Checkout, Docking Station,Pillow menu. ( neither was available until I started asking questions regarding premium room. ) once I asked questions I was provided a docking station and a pillow menu. Late check out was denied because according to the staff “no the hotel is booked”.(premium room comes with late checkout) Parking was also denied even though I was willing to pay 15 euros a day and parking spots were available. ( attendant told me free parking was available down the street parked there and someone tried to break into our rental)Breakfast and dinner staff was not welcoming at all. They were not friendly and seemed bothered when we asked for simple items like drinks. A lot of the staff were standoffish and not friendly.Half board includes breakfast and drinks dinner with non bottle water.The food was not good and the staff was not friendly. We sat ourselves which is fine but we had to call the staff over multiple times just for drinks that will be billed.The hotel has ten floors, 4 elevators only two worked the whole stay. Which one was a small elevator only three people can fit in it. Unfortunately I saw a lot of older people waking up to the 6,7,8th floor very upset.Pool- the pool was okay including the sky bar however the staff at the sky bar did not want to serve drinks after 1735 because the bar closed at 1800.I asked for clean towels multiple times, face to face and over a cellphone call since my hotel phone and tv did not work. When it was time for my room to be cleaned the soap was not refilledRooms are small which is normal for Europe however the hot water temperature is extremely hot. (Dangerous for smaller children)I dealt with mostly unfriendliness and the lack of hospitality throughout my stay from the staff.The following staff members in the hotel were helpful and at least spoke to me and my family.

We did not stay at the Hm gran Fiesta as they are doing works. We stayed at the Hm Ayron instead, however Hm gran Fiesta is less stars but the better hotel. The staff at Hm Fiesta are more welcoming and there is more to do.

Very good food the perfect place to stay, good staff very happy with the service

This is my 4th visit to this lovely hotel.. location is spot on..next to the beach..terrace outdoor pool and indoor heated pools are excellent..room was very clean.. especially the first floor sea facing rooms..also there was BRUT champagne complimentary in my room..

Bathroom door wasn't working.. technician told he will repair next day..but nobody turned up..since I was a solo traveller..it didn't really bother me..

Great Locations, neat and clean. Infrastructure of ofvthe Beach and many Shops and Restaurants around. Great vew from the Room Balcony, calm and relaxed. Breakfast was lavish with lots of Varity.very Cooperative and lively smiled Staff.A BIG thanks for the Complementary gift of Champagne ? Cava bottle a Surprise ? us.:)looking forward to see u soon.

I have liked the hotel facilities (especially the bike room), my room lay-out, breakfast buffet, dinner.

I had a room with a balcony that was all day in the shade.
