HSM Hotel Golden Playa

Good hotel, the beach is great, has a pool. It's close to Palma, and has a bus station right next to it.

They run a pretty tight schedule on breakfast and dinner, and we like to have our breakfast and dinner late. The food is good though.

I liked the convenience to the beach

Excellent condition extremely clean. Very good decorative order. Everything worked as it should.

Bathroom, the entry to the shower was obscured partly by the proximity of the lavatory . Very unimpressed that there were no Coffee or tea facilities in the room. In addition no coffee or Tea after dinner. Neither was water available with the evening meal or in the room unless you paid extra.

The price for the late check out varies from the fact that they can give you another room if yours is already booked and then you pay 10 eur more from the standard late check out price. Not great communication with reception employees, they could be more kind.

It is close to beach with nice views. Lots of good restaurants. The hotel served in the hotel was very good. Staff were friendly, especially Cati- she is amazing!

Indoor swimming pool water very cold; jacuzzi very cold water; steam sauna out of order. Spa? Don’t call one room always closed as SPA. The hotel has potential but at present there is no spa there.

We loved the beach front setting, the hotel is well kept, very clean and our room was very nice. All the staff were so helpful, kind , hardworking and very friendly. The hotel restaurant is good with lots of choice and good healthy options. The staff in the restaurant are all so friendly and work hard keeping everyone happy.

Amazing location at the seafront, very helpful and friendly staff. Ivan was always super nice to us at the restaurant.The room had an amazing view and was clean and comfortable.Nice gym facilities. Bar too overpriced and no entertainment for the guests that have to stay at the hotel due to bad weather.

The blanket has no cover but a sheet underneath, so the hygiene was questionable.There is no kittel in the room.

We have never stayed in a holiday hotel before as we usually rent a villa or apartment. We were unable to find one for our dates and this hotel was recommended by a colleague. We really enjoyed our stay. It is spotlessly clean and the reception staff, cleaners and pool staff were very friendly and helpful. The majority of the guest were German and although we don’t speak the language we were able to say hello and good morning. We loved how quiet the hotel is. If you want noise, find another place. Location, location, location! And we soon got into the way of the bus network that stops outside the door. There is a fast bus to Palma although it is slower on the return journey and often crowded. There is also a bus to the shopping centre at Fan Mallorca which is worth a visit - we are now regretting that we did not buy more Spanish made clothes, which are high quality and well styled. Children’s clothes are worth buying and cheap with the exchange rate. The hotel is within walking distance of the aquarium and there are two excellent supermarkets across the road, one of them is a more specialist shop and, again we regret not buying products to take home. We went on the train to the market at Inca and that was an easy journey. We wanted to go to Port de Soller which is where we have stayed before but in the end we just relaxed and enjoyed the restaurants and beach on our door step. Forgot to mention the extensive breakfast. At home, I rarely eat breakfast but loved the relaxed atmosphere and the variety each day. The restaurant staff are so hard working and helpful.

Breakfast was verk good, but the room was to noisy.

The Doors to the bathroom was to small. Could NOT get my walker in there. Had to lift it up and take it back and forward to get it in. And the hotel could not fix a carpet in the shower. The flor was verk slippy. I had to put a towel on the floor to avsides fallinjg.

Very nice hotel, on very nice location. Swimming pool is great. Cleanliness of the room is excellent.

We booked superior room but we needed to remind staff every day to put coffee and milk in the room. Also water they never put.

Fantastic experience, great people and service, they paid atention that our trip to br the best.very good connection to airport, Palma center and a lot of fun places around the hotel.we will return!

Great location - close to the beach and close to the airport. Beautiful sea view from the room. Lots of cafes and a big supermarket nearby. Good food in the restaurant. Nice staff. There is free parking nearby.

Cold air conditioners in the restaurant and in the hall in autumn. The water in the pool was colder than in the sea. No ramp for a stroller to the sea site. No shower near the exit from the beach. The coffee from the coffee machines for breakfast was not tasty.

The location is amazing, see view room on a level 5 is wonderful, beach and see one of the best, special thanks to the chef....food was done with love, also much appreciate for the opportunity of late check out!!

Room was not clean

Location great, clean, staff friendly, great food too.

Rooms could be re-painted as lots of black marks on walls, chair in awkward position for coming in and out of balcony doors, maybe a hot water urn for filling tea pots up at breakfast instead of using machines which takes a bit of time causing queues for drinks.

Great location, good facilities, great restaurant and bar. Decent swimming pool, more outside seating needed for the number of guests around the pool.

Parts of the property need a bit of care and attention, but overall state was good.
