Hotel Obelisco

Whilst on stopping for one night before airport departure , the hotel was very clean, modern rooms . Location was excellent with an A2 airport bus, (runs every 45 minutes and takes around 20 minutes ) and route 25 Palma central bus, ( runs every 15 minutes and takes around 20 minutes ) , along with taxi rank within 100 yards of the hotel entrance. You are two blocks back from the front and beach so you’re able to sit on your balcony in semi peace and whilst we were on the third floor had a view of all around. Albeit if you want the best view go to the roof top 13th floor roof top bar, the almost 360 degree view is stunnning. As maybe the highest viewpoint in s’arenal.You can walk along the front in both directions , palma is around 6 to 7 miles away but around every corner is a lovely view, many bars, restaurants and beaches to stop and view , so take three hours with occasional stops. Central s’arenal about 1.5 miles away . Again bars, shops, beach all along the route.You are far enough away from the airport as not to hear, but you can watch the unfortunate folk having to go home.

I loved the beauty of the Hotel. The room was great and the Breakfast was a all you can eat which I enjoyed.

I suppose I did not realise that it was a German Hotel and a German community as well.

Staff were not friendly, they refused to help for a simple issue once.The indoor pool and sauna were closed.Fitness room was so small and without air conditioning when the temperature was 35 degrees.Clothes horse in the balcony was broken.

The breakfast was good. Enjoyed the services of the dining staff. The location is good because of distance from the airport and the beach.

I wish there was room service option for food or a late dinner at the restaurant. And the house keeper never really laid my bed throughout my stay.

This hotel is not for families. It’s mainly full of young German men who are super loud and drink a lot , not really family oriented.

The staff are very accomodating lovely and friendly. We did not feel out of place at all, we were made to feel very comfortable ....the location is very good not far from the beach and about 20 mins from the airport. The night time entertainment was nice in the hotel..This is a good hotel for Cultural Diversity.

The breakfast menu needs alternatives to pork, although they do have other things available. It would be nice to have a veggie option to the same foods.

Friendly staff at meal times. Ease of access to the beach and shops.

The location is near to a night club so it can be a little loud at night.

It was a safe place to lay down for a night.

Didn't give much thought that our two rooms booked would not be next to each other, even though they were under the same reservation name. Reception staff was a bit snide with his comments stating I didn't request them to be next door to each other. His attitude made me happy that we were only there for a night

Very nice hotel, close to the beach and also rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are very nice and delicious. People are very friendly and polite.

The property so nice and clean. The rooms was clean and big enough with balcony and also people were very friendly and helpful. Location is also good very close to the sea. Breakfast was great and delicious.

The elevator and the rooftop restaurant were spectacular. The location of the hotel allows great views over the sea and it is also very close to the airport and to the beach. Also the breakfast was the best we had on Mallorca.

The staff couldn’t speak proper English. Their level of German was also very poor and they spoke only Spanish besides. The hotel was extremely overpriced for the value it offers but they just seem to match the competition and demand in the area.

Second language is German so it was really hard to communicate in English, but the staff was trying to do their best. :)

The room was very nice and clean with great view. It was close to the Bierkönig. The pool was also very nice and relaxing. We would recommand the hotel.

A few more toiletteries like soup would be nice.

A big thank you to the hotel who wished my daughter a happy birthday! Champagne and cake were prepared for us and opened at dinner time! THANK YOU!Very plentiful and varied breakfasts and dinners. Swimming pool. Fitness facilities. 3 lifts.Cool rooftop bar.All Super!
