The spa was really bad. Sauna was broken and not clean at all. Overall not clean and fresh, would not recommend.Room had very old standard and the bed was pretty hard, almost like a rock.

Nice view from the room, ok breakfast.

The property and spa are beautiful. The restaurant food is good.

Breakfast is worst than airport hotel. The staff and service is really bad. Reception is always empty, you have to park really far and two floors down, they dont help with the luggage. Room was not clean and wifi did not work. I travel a lot and hace stayed in many old castle hotels and this is not old is not well mantained. Bed was confortable. This should not even be two stars.

The location was really good. The view is wonderfull. The food was exellant and the staff very friendly!

The inside part of the building is old and not clean.

Beautiful setting and hotel, room decor was antiques and wood floors and marble bathroom. I loved the pool area and the spa. Dinner was amazing; they have a talented chef!

Had to figure out when to buy water as not available all day but once I understood to buy extra at mealtimes to take to my room, I was all set.

Excellent location surrounded by the lovely countryside, stunning and prestigious villa, friendly staff and great service. Room was enormously spacious, garden patio outside and very tidy and clean.

All was perfect, shame that this time we didn't experienced the SpaDefinitely would have been a great relaxing time

What's not to like?! everything was perfect! The location is looking out into the hills surrounded by greenary it almost looks like a painting its so surreal.The room was very large and decorated beautifully.While we didn't get to use the pool or spa as we only stayed one night we did peak in and have a look and it was amazing. We did try to stay a second night to take full advantage but understanably they were fully booked. The food is definitely the star of the show though hard to believe when everything else was so good but the meal we had was devine! One of the best meals I have ever had accompanied with one of the best bottles of wine. A special mention also to the staff who were very friendly during our short stay. We willl 100% be back for a longer break to take full advantage of everything.

Breakfast is basic.Slightly dated internally.No explanation on arrival regarding spa use or wifi. No information folder in bedroom.

Place was disgusting. Dirty bed sheets, dirty pillows, old broken furniture, just plain gross! We left the premises immediately upon arrival. This place should not even be listed by booking.com as there are promoting 100% false advertising.

Everything is old broken and dirty. Place looks like a rundown hospital with dirty floors and beds.

the food in the restaurant was really good

Old and outdated, almost no lights in the room, poor airco, rude service in the restaurant and little hospitality.We opted for half board, but this apparenlty only included 3 dishes pp (when you want vegetables or fries, this counts as one of those 3 dishes). A plate of vegetables costs 7 eur and you get 50gr and of course you have to pay 5 eur for the service as well. You cannot choose where you sit, because people who arrived before you in the hotel get a better table (so if it rains the night after, or if you only stay one night, it's your problem). The half board seems to be designed just to rip off people.Rude guests and only italians. Regarding the breakfast, most of the trays were empty at 9:30, had to beg for some eggs and tea. Electricity went out for a couple of hours, we received no compensation whatsoever, because it was the fault of the electricity company, not theirs. To sum up: don't go there.

Amazing room on the 2nd floor. View was beautiful and the food in the restaurant was amazing! If I hadn’t have gone half board I would have paid every cent for it anyway!

It is extremely remote. Because of this I would have though they would have a small newsagents on site or something to make the stay a little more enjoyable. The nearest shop is easily 20/30mins walk. Taxis are quite expensive for short distances so unless you want to spend €30 for a 10min drive - take a lot of things with you.

This place is amazing, just takes you back in time. Our room was clean and comfy. Dinner was delicious. Will definitely recommend.
