- Heated towels were nice
- Lovely large room and comfortable bed. Family room had everything we needed. The included breakfast was great with lots of choices.
- The historic villa is just gorgeous! The whole complex is worth exploring with lots of hidden gems, and the atmosphere is magical! Also a great location, just in the center of the village.Good heated pool.
Cons -
- Too far away far away from Florence any sites whatsoever one restaurant one taxi not near the train station no coffee to go spa was separate from hotel so you had to walk across the courtyard to get back to your room after service. No breakfast will actually never ever recommend it to any of my clients.
- The bed wasn't comfortable, and the shower temp was not stable, once in a while there were cold pulses. The SPA looks good from the outside, but it was a bit pricey so we didn't use it.
- Lighting in the bedroom was very low. The addition of a good central light would have been benficial

We had a great room with high ceilings and an outside terrace. It was spacious and well equiped. The room was tidied every day and towels were changed when requested, by a very good friendly team of staff. Great internal swimming pool and sun lounging area (quiet during our September visit). Gardens provided a pleasant walk. Breakfast and dinner were served in the cloisters which creates a historical ambience. Breakfasts were varied and plentiful. Dinners had a limited menu, but generally good italian cooking. We mainly used the restaurants in Figline (5 minutes walk) for dinner which has a good range of cuisines and prices.

This property is absolutely gorgeous. I’ll admit the town isn’t much to talk about, so it was really nice to have a beautiful place to stay and come back to. The buffet breakfast was great. The room was spacious and clean, and they did a great job of mixing modern amenities with timeless classics. For example, the AC, the shower. The beds were comfy too. We went up to the pool and had drinks made my the guy at the bar named Tommy. He crafted his own cocktail menu and was really helpful and patient in helping us find the best drinks for our mood. We didn’t have much interaction with the rest of the staff as we were only there for 1 night, but the check in / check out was quick and smooth. Also free on site parking which was great.
The gym was a bit outdated. For the price of the hotel I think they could have invested a bit more in the equipment. However, most hotels I’ve stayed at don’t even have a fitness center so it was nice to have something ! Also, the pool area is pretty busy and even as a hotel guest you need to pay for a chair which seems a little unusual. They do have one only for hotel guests but it’s an indoor pool and you have to wear a shower cap. The one at the top of the hill is open to the public too.
The location, rooms, the garden, everything was amazing! We enjoyed our stay at the pool and had an amazing wine tasting experience. The property is in a town where you can also find great places to eat, in addition to the hotels restaurant.
I liked the atmosphere and location. It was clean and cosy. Pesonell at dinner time and at checkin was accomodating.
Tis was the most nosy accomodation af all in Tuskany. People stopped shouting and laughing at midnight. The checkout noise started again at 5:30am. Personell at breakfast was moody.
Unfortunately when we arrived the bathroom was not clean enough and the front desk had to call someone to clean the bathroom
Dirty bathroom
The property is excellent. This was a return trip. The Villa has a rich history, and the staff is top of the line. There is a Villa history and winery tour that are very interesting, and cooking classes are available with very knowledgeable staff. The restaurant authentic Tuscan and every dish we had was fabulous.
The history, the location, the way the property is designed, the birds chirping in the morning, the facilities and the hospitality were an amazing experience.
Ambiance of hotel, great architecture loved the museum of historical machinery great indoor pool.. beautiful breakfast and got a upgrade for room. Had a couples massage
Little expensive to use sauna/Steam room.
The staff were exceptional and friendly. They made sure that our experience was as close to perfect as possible. We went on Easter weekend and the entire city was very busy with locals and tourists. The staff helped us get into various wineries for wine tastings, including their own, even though they were fully booked. The room was comfortable, warm, and clean. The spa was relaxing and we felt so calm and peaceful for hours afterward. Lastly, the restaurant was delicious and affordable. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations.
This Medieval construction keeps its historic flavour but has been completely renovated to offer modern comfort. It has a beautiful courtyard and a very nice spa. It is very easy to access by car from the road, but it also has a back-entrance connecting to the main square of Figline if you want to go for a walk.
Location and rooms were perfect! And a fifteen minute drive to the Firenze mall. Staff are amazing. Great value. Loved the mini museum. Will definitely come back again!
Nothing at all!
The place itself is nice, and you have a restaurant in the Hotel which is good.
Not much to do around there, specially in winter. Maybe it changes in Summer.
Room was spacious and comfortable
Breakfast was low level, nothing from territory , as a 2 star hotel but above all staff was quite unfriendly. We ordered a cappuccino and a coffee and when ready they just left the cups there without bringing them to the table and letting them get cold. Finally we realised that were ready when we moved to the buffet to get some more food
Good hotel , good staff, wonderful price))
Expensive spa
Tranquility of the surroundings, comfortable and beautiful rooms, good location and decent breakfast. Small group spa sessions were an absolute bliss. Location is good near the town and train station going to Florence
I loved everything, especially for the price we paid. Would be good to have tea/coffee in the rooms though which is the only criticism. They were still available but outside at the reception
Old historical building transformed into a spa hotel.
Feels very disjointed-with steps and stairs everywhere. Def not suitable for anyone with walking disabilities
the hotel has many positive sides. The surroundings are beautiful, the food is excellent, the staff is kind and helpful and the overall vibe is great. Despite the minor issues, it’s a lovely place to stay with a lot of potential. 100% will be back! This review balances the critique with the positive aspects, giving constructive feedback in a respectful tone.
First, I was disappointed to find that water in the minibar was priced at €3 per bottle. For a hotel of this standard and price, I believe water should be included, especially considering it’s a basic necessity. Additionally, the body lotion provided contained a lot of chemicals, which isn’t ideal for those who are conscious about what they put on their skin.Another downside was the cold temperature in the bathroom, and unfortunately, the towel heater was not working, so the towels did not dry. The showerhead also needs replacing as it barely allowed water to flow, making it difficult to enjoy a proper shower.
