Pros +
- Stunning property, grounds are lovely and pool is very nice. Staff are extremely helpful and very friendly - they booked our restaurant for us and an airport transfer which helped us a lot.
- Relaxing spot, friendly staff
- The property was stunning and I absolutely loved the spa. They had the best rooms we’ve experience so far in Italy.
Cons -
- Quality of breakfast and lunch offerings could be better.
- The pesto was extremely salty which caused us to avoid the food.
- Not a dislike, but worth noting that you will need a car/taxi service to access any local towns etc.

The grounds were beautifully kept and the scenery was breathtaking. The uniqueness of the property was very refreshing. It had a luxury yet relaxed feel with nature as the backdrop. The breakfast was outstanding.
Some of the surrounding roads were not in the best shape and the location was a little remote.
Beautiful hotel. Very clean everywhere. It’s a nice small hotel and was very quiet when we were here. Great location with some good restaurants nearby which is good as the restaurant does not serve dinner. Good views of the Tuscan countryside.
It was very quiet… almost too quiet. There is no bar, just a waiter who floats about. He said, “ I am the bar”. He disappears in the late afternoon so you can’t get a drink in the evening unless you get one from the fridge in your room. The hotel is silent in the evenings and there’s no one to be seen. It’s feels of like there’s been a murder and all of the guests suspect each other.
Very nice rooms , wonderful gardens and pool
A lot of flys everywhere. Otherwise perfect
Beautiful property with a pool, sunbeds and lots of places to sit and enjoy nature. Staff were all eloquent in English and gave a tour of the grounds and even helped us make a reservation at a nearby restaurant. We were given a room that had our own front yard and private garden space, which was super nice!
The room looked a little dated and had a musty smell when we first went in, but the bed was comfortable and everything worked fine. The grounds have lots of insects and mosquitoes, so be sure to bring your repellent and watch out for cobwebs!
A truly relaxing break in such a beautiful setting - the photos do not do it justice. Definitely a treat but worth the expense. Our room was lovely and we enjoyed all of the facilities: pool, spa, gardens, food / bar. Yes, the hotel kitchen only does breakfast and lunch but (1) there is a good bar menu to go with sundowners and (2) there are plenty of great restaurants nearby which the staff are happy to recommend / book. And their help is readily offered - we booked a cooking class and taxis through reception, and found everyone to be friendly and helpful. The hotel is isolated (which adds to its charm), so we would recommend hiring a car so that you're not limited to taxis and can take the odd day trip around Tuscany during your stay, to nearby San Miniato or even Lucca / Florence / Pisa / Livorno which are all within an hours' drive or so.
A small thing but the only complimentary water received was a half bottle each on arrival, and it was expensive to purchase thereafter. With peer hotels offering free bottled water each day and on request, this was a surprise and felt slightly out of touch given the cost of the stay. But it certainly did not ruin our week!
Beautiful environment, lovely comfortable rooms, super personnel, great pool
Quiet and natural ambient. Jakuzzi was outside and it was really good.
Spa bath didnt work because it was broken.
Comfort, fantastic atmosphere, no children ?, heated pool, personnel
The wifi was flakey - on multiple occasions - and mobile internet reception is not very well so that caused a few inconvenient moments of stress where we needed to be reachable but were not.
Gorgeous room, great air con in 40 degree heat meant we slept well. Very polite and helpful staff who did all they could to make our stay easy and pleasant. Stunning pool area, only wish we could have stayed longer to make the most of the wonderful hotel. Wonderful wonderful stay.
Nothing at all.
Beautiful hotel, amazing grounds, stunning views, just lovely. Felt very luxurious.Staff were amazingly helpful in organising taxis and helping us out.Food and drinks were excellent.Pool was just beautiful, I could have stayed in there all day. Thanks so much - hope to come back someday!
Not easy to get to - we didn't think to book a taxi and there weren't any available in San Miniato on a Sunday. The hotel were really helpful in getting us one but otherwise we would have been stuck!
The accommodation was fantastic, beautiful with a lovely garden and clean pool. As for the food, we had breakfast and a light snack for lunch, and travelled to nearby villages for dinner (the accommodation doesn't offer a restaurant for dinner, but we didn't mind this at all as it gives you the opportunity to explore the surrounding local excellent restaurants) - the food was amazing. The managers of the accommodation always provided us with great tips for trips and restaurants, we really appreciated that.
A relaxing premium experience. Great views. Small hotel, very quiet and mellow surroundings.
great site great food nice people .
Beautiful pool area, delicious breakfast, amazing scenery. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at and will come back
Pool and views were amazing. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. Close to amazing restaurants and vineyards
Resort did not have a full restaurant for dinner.
They welcomed us with a free propper champagne for our honey moon. Every thing was PERFECT, the cleaning, the room service, the staff, the view, the whole place was just perfect, we will visit again ofc! Thanks alot!
