Hotel Miravalle

The room, location and view was fantastic.

They debited my card twice for my one night stay. I have yet to hear back from them about a refund and it has been many days. Also the room door makes an awfully loud buzzing sound as you enter.

Finding the hotel to begin with was a challenge as not only is it in a ZTL zone but half of the streets leading up to it are closed off completely, there are no amenities of any kind, not even a kettle or coffee machine in the room. Bathrooms are terrible, poor water pressure, the shower isn’t even enclosed or built in at all, they just put some cheap plastic folding doors separating it from the sink so every time you shower it leaks all over the bathroom floor. There’s mini split for AC in the room, but the controls are locked so you can’t adjust the temperature or even turn up the fan, it’s warm in there. breakfast is just the bare minimum. The restaurant on the property was also unavailable because they were booked out for a private event, which after driving almost 5 hrs that way we found out we also had to figure out somewhere else to eat. In conclusion, after paying a premium price for this so called “4 star” property, we would much rather book a regular bnb or agroturism.

Excellent staff, especially Aida who was extremely helpful. The junior suite is beautiful, with stenciling on the ceiling and nice furnishings.

Many electrical outlets didn’t work.

Characterful hotel in the old town., maybe a 25 minute walk from the railway station Wonderful view from our window. Fantastic breakfast. Ideal as a start point for Via Francigena

Everything! Was a Nice experience to sleep in a mediaval castle! The Stuff was very kind and proffesional.

Bathrooms need updating

Hotel room was clean and quiet.

Hotel had no bar little or no area to relax in but worst of all the offering or breakfast was appalling to the extent we didn't use it after the first day.

Stunning location and room, we were made to feel very welcome. Shower small but functional, the views from the room were absolutely spectacular

The location and the town is beautiful. Clean hotel, friendly welcome and nice atmosphere. The beds are quite firm and initially you think "this is going to be a bad night's sleep" but the pillows were good and I actually had one of the best night's sleep I had all holiday.

Rooms are too old, should be renovated. Bathroom is bellow normal standard, no pressure of cold water.

It’s right in the historical center, being a guest of the hotel can directly park in front of the stairs. The rooms and the bar have gorgeous views. There’s also a small music concert right out of the window in the afternoon, at night it’s quiet for rest.

The last 200m of driving is only single lane but it’s for cars of two directions, fortunately there’s almost no traffic.

We enjoyed our stay. We loved the town and the hotel is perfectly located. The receptionist was friendly and the rooms large and clean. We love the Italian hotels in old buildings, this is no exception. The breakfast was fine (albeit a bit late).

Great location in such a lovely place, parking so close to hotel, just a little complicated to find , persevered though and found it!!Had to leave early in the morning before breakfast but the reception staff very kindly organised a packed breakfast which was perfect
