Hotel Canarco

Hotel Canarco is a real gem in Viareggio, very simple, but perfectly clean and with everything you need for a comfortable short stay. It’s quiet, small but comfortable, with AC that made our summer nights very pleasant. The location is awesome, close to everything, and it’s great for a budget holiday. What makes it truly special are the wonderful family owners, who are extremely friendly, welcoming, and make you feel right at home with genuine Italian hospitality. A perfect choice if you value cleanliness, kindness, and a truly local experience, highly recommended!

Amzing warm host, great location and easy to reach even if you travel with train. Cristiana is very, friendly smiling and trying to assist with evry need you might have during your stay! The place is for people that would prefer family atmosphere than luxury hotel.

Cristiana as an advice can add a small fridge in the rooms ?

It was reasonably priced within walking distance to the city center. The owner/manager was a wonderful friendly lady. She even made us a togo breakfast bag the night before since we were going to leave before she came in the next morning. Newly renovated bath.

This is a basic hotel, so do not expect luxuries or bedroom seating etc. However it is spotlessly clean and provides all essential items. The included breakfast (very reasonable addition to the base price) was satisfactory, but good value. We would certainly stay here again.

Nothing really, it provided what was required and at a fair price.

The hostess was very friendly and let us check in while we were late due to the train. The mattress was comfy, good location close to the beach but not as loud. A nice window view.

The shower was very sensitive and didn't heat up fast or hot enough, and the shower was small. The TV is more of a monitor in a random spot above the door.

The hotel was super clean, the staff amazing and a good location.

The people were absolutely gorgeous. A really lovely family. They went out of their way to help us. The bed was incredibly comfortable and it did have an ensuite. Breakfast was lovely in the garden outside. And the area around the Hotel was beautiful and felt very safe.

The room was very basic - and small and personally I found the beach very crowed with umbrellas as far as the eye can see. But that has nothing to do with the lovely little Hotel.

Loved the breakfast area and the service. The room we booked was small but very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Excellent location. We saw the other rooms and definitely will be back. Great value for money.

Great location, very welcoming and friendly staff, 15 min away from train station and very close to the beach. Breakfast was lovely in the garden. Room has high ceiling, great AC and very clean.

They were stingy with the mini toiletries and we never got fresh towels. Breakfast had limited options for vegetarians (no eggs, just pastries bread and fruit)

The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The welcome drink on arrival was an appreciated gesture. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean - the bathroom a standout for size, shower etc. Air conditioning worked well and it was nice to have the little balcony. The breakfast was excellent and it was nice to eat outside on the terrace. The location is residential and thus very quiet and peaceful.

As editor of an independent travel magazine I stayed during 2 nights in this hotel. The owners did not know about my activities. I can only confirm that this accommodation is a hidden germ in Viareggio. The room was nice, the breakfast excellent and the owners were 100% professional and friendly. Location in a calm street very near the beach and all things to see.

We really enjoyed everything! Located in the city center of Viareggio, everything is at hand. It's very clean, comfortable, very well arranged. Above all, Cristiana, the owner, has been marvelous!
