- Comfortable small family run hotel. They gave us an upgraded room when we arrived early which was very much appreciated. Plenty of space and good breakfast available sitting outside on the street.
- Nice modern room value for money, perfect location, staff was friendly and available. Nice breakfast.
- Spacious room, comfortable bed, helpful front desk staff, good breakfast.
Cons -
- The water in the shower was either too cold or too hot, what a dissapointment!
- Masculine fragranced toiletries (i.e. shower gel) - should be more neutral smelling. We could hear toilet flushing (from top floor) in the bedroom.
- First, receptionist staff was rude and unwelcoming, then she gave us a wrong basic room where we've booked for a Deluxe with balcony which forced us to come down again to get it right. She then gave us a new room in a dependance throwing us thr keys and a code which wasn't in the hotel itself but nothing was stated as such when booking ?! Moreover, her attitude was a problem but it was only a start ...We've entered the new room to find out that the aircon remote control wasn't there so I crossed the road again to let her know that I would need the said remote. Then she said that I cannot have it and she'll eventually come up to explain why ?!! So I 'very decided for the first time in more than 15 years to call Booking.com's client service to let her know and we needed 3 different calls to sort out the problem while the first receptionist vanished without a word of apologies and the other receptionist gave us three different remotes, the first two weren't suitable but have been supplied wrongly on purpose ! Finally, a so-called technician came to fix the issue who wasn't a technician but one of the staff. Let alone this person hanging up over the phone and all the tissue of lies which is just the way to treat customers or deal with them !To avoid ... Otherwise, breakfast was average but nothing special and no completary water as stated⁸

The location. Staff was friendly . Breakfast was good.
Room too small lacking of any atmosphere. No kettle , coffe or tea in the room . When asked for cups , we were given 2 cardboard cups and a plastic spatula. Room didn't look like any of the pictures advertised. Also , no double glazing . Noisy in the morning.Beds were ok . Not a fan of memory foam mattress.Bathroom toilet seat was wonky and the tap on the sink was lose.
Good sized room with facilties. Breakfast was great. Friendly staff
Very central location. 8minutes walk from train station. Restaurants nearby. Easy walk to centreStaff very attentive and welcoming. Very good breakfast. Excellent shower. Also very comfortable reception areaWould not hesitate to return.
All good
First of all, I highly recommend staying in the main building of the newly renovated hotel. Unfortunately, the old building is quite uncomfortable. I made the mistake of staying one night in the old building, where the air conditioning didn’t work. During my October stay, I found the room very cold. Even though they brought a blanket, it wasn’t enough to keep me warm. The next day, I arranged to stay in the main building. The rooms here are very well-designed, and the air conditioning worked, providing a comfortable warmth. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of options and more than enough of everything. We had a minor misunderstanding regarding the payment, but we resolved it later via email. I appreciate the hotel’s understanding and assistance in this matter.Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located close to the train station, about 500 meters away, so the distance is not too far at all. In my opinion, instead of staying in Florence, you could stay in Montecatini, which is definitely more affordable, and easily reach everywhere by train.
I must say that I really did not like the old building. It should definitely be renovated and updated as soon as possible.
The accommodation was amazing. Although we had the cheapest room (basic dependace), it was very nice, with a large terrace, clean and absolutely sufficient for the stay. The breakfast was very rich and tasty. The pool on the rooftop had an incredible view and a comfortable temperature.
The only small downside was parking on the street, where you had to be lucky to find a free paid parking space.
Excellent breakfast; wonderful accommodation, very convenient location. Highly professional and helpful staff and excellent experience throughout.
Very clean, comfortable room. Excellent customer service from all staff. Great breakfast. Very good location.
Most of the hotel staff are super helpful and when I tried to speak Italian helped me out which was very kind of them. The rooms are lovely and modern super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was a nice continental selection and was continually stocked up by the restaurant staff. The pool is just over the road and really clean overlooking the town. The location of the hotel is ideal 5 mins from the train station, centre of town and the spa and only a 10min walk to the funicular. We had a great time here woukd definitely go back.
One tiny thing to be mindful of is the hotel doesn't have any guest ironing facilities my husband asked an older lady on reception if they had a board and iron he could use and she looked at him like he was crazy and said no we don't have that so basically avoid taking anything in your case which might need an iron when you get there.
Breakfast was lovely. Location was nice. Stuff was friendly.

Check-in was excellent, Alex was very helpful, friendly and professional. Having travelled on motorbikes in the hot sunshine we welcomed the roof-top pool and were soon in for a cool-down and relaxation. The breakfast is excellent, lots of choice and good quality food. We picked this hotel as it was only a 40 minute ride to Florence. There are lots of bars and trattorie in Montecatini to enjoy walking around the town. We enjoyed two nights of good relaxation at the hotel before resuming our travels. If we come this way again we will certainly stay and recommend this hotel to others.
The dining room staff aren't the cheeriest.
breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. self serve so eat what/ as much as you liked.staff friendly. nice rooftop pool and sun bathing area,
the annexe room was basic but clean, seemed sparse and not enough wardrobe space for 2 people. towels a little thin feeling.
Close to Florence Airport easy to find. Stayed one night good way to start our trip in Italy.
Excellent hotel in a very convenient location (10 min max by foot from all attractions), easily accessible by car (near highway) and 7 minutes by foot from train station which made it a perfect solution for us since we visited many places in Tuscany either by car or train. The room was very well equipped and comfy, breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly. They helped us with many things (eg. advices regarding trains) and solved all our issues. The hotel also offers a dinner in their restaurant and there's a pool at the roof but we haven't tried it. They offer either private car parking for 8€ per night or a voucher to park anywhere in the city on public parking for 5€ per night. We chose the private one and it is in a closed yard (doors are being opened via pin) 50 meters from the hotel, with lots od trees so it's not in the sun. Also a space right in front of the entrance, where you can temporary leave your car to do check-in/check-out and carry your bags, is very convenient. If we decide to return to Montecatini (which is BTW the best place to stay if visiting Tuscany), we will be definitely staying at Boston again.
Great location, including affordable street parking. Very kind and attentive staff. Very clean.
The annex is not renovated (which we knew about before), so there are some things that are just not in the best shape anymore, like the sockets. It’s also quite noisy if you are a light sleeper.
The room was clean, and the staff were, for the most part, friendly. The breakfast was good. The hotel amended by booking after I raised issues via booking.com.
I've been a booking.com customer for the past 10 years, staying in 4-6 hotels a year. This is the first time I've had significant issues - to the extent that I had to move to another hotel after just one night (I had planned on staying for 8 nights). 1) The hotel is marketed as a modern, 4* hotel. The reality is very different - 70s style rooms, furniture and carpets. It's false advertising, and it shouldn't happen. Booking.com really should do more to clamp down on this. Absolutely no one wins. 2) The room was noisy at night. One night, I was woken up by next door's toilet flushing. Another night I was repeatedly woken up by street noise. (This was despite wearing earplugs, and requesting a room in a quiet part of the hotel. )3) I personally found the double bed very uncomfortable, experiencing back pain the following day.
Very friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast was excellent, lovely bread and nice range of choices. The room was very comfortable and spacious
The little fried eggs at breakfast, but that's being overly picky!!
