Great place to stay for a long weekend. Breakfast was great, calm and spacious between the tables. The hotel beach was very nice and clean and all staff were attentative and friendly. We borrowed hotel bycycles and went of small, nice excersions in the vicinity every morning.

My husband and I loved absolutely everything about this hotel. Not only was it beautiful and impeccably clean, but the service truly exceeded our expectations. The staff went above and beyond in thoughtful ways, laying out our pjs on the bed, placing a small box of water on the nightstand each evening, and even bringing us fresh fruit while we relaxed on the beach.

Absolutely no cons.

From the first moment we entered until we left, Diana (Guest Relations) and her team treated us like royalty. Everyone was friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The room was stunning (along with the view). The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were fantastic (feather or memory foam!). The beach set up was luxurious and not crowded like the other hotels. The dining was top notch including the wine. We ate on the beach twice and the view was stunning. The breakfast buffet was always fresh and the coffee was good. The spa and wellness were clean and comfortable. We also had a couples massage which was very relaxing. Excelsior is a wonderful experience and we would recommend it highly.

Parking per night was a bit high but it is a five star hotel so perhaps that’s normal. Pesaro is a resort town so it can be quite crowded on the beach (but the Excelsior beach was less so).

The hotel was wonderful. The staff were friendly and the service was attentive but unobtrusive. We got everything we needed, including help finding an emergency dentist! The food was superb - from great breakfasts all the way to wonderful suppers on the beach. The location is fantastic and everything felt stylish and well-thought out.We loved everything about it and will certainly be back!

It was amazing. The hotel corresponds to its level 100%. Starting from the check-in, which happened at night (everything was perfect), until the check-out, our vacation was surrounded by pleasant, caring, hospitable staff, a cozy atmosphere, delicious food. Breakfasts were very tasty and varied with a huge selection, including Prosecco, fresh juice and much more. Gratitude to the housekeeping team. The rooms are perfectly clean, cleaned every day. Towels in the rooms were changed 2 times a day. Special thanks and admiration to the staff of the restaurant & Lido. Olha, Sasha, Ksenia, Anastasia and their Boss. Thank you very much for your care. The beach service was also perfect. Fresh compliments, fast service, hospitality, all this allowed us to enjoy our vacation.

Everything. Nothing but the best. The rooms were great. The beach club was amazing. The beach itself was a great surprise. Do your self a favour and visit this town and in particular the Excelsior hotel.

+ great service at the beach. Boxes where you can leave your stuff+ service at the restaurant was really kind and helpful + modern lounge at the beach club + toilets and showers in the beach club+ view from the balcony is top !+ Nespresso

- brakfast was ok but could definitely get better ;)- close by is very noisy bar, lound music and drunk kids yelling until late at night- guests did not follow the rules of the spa and staff did not do anything. There was a kid in the spa under allowed age with a father who was making phone calls loudly. So annoying I had to leave the spa.

This was a surprisingly great hotel. Room was new and clean. The views of the beach and sea from the balcony were great. The staff was excellent and helpful. The neighborhood was great for walking around and finding lunch and dinner and exploring the city. I travel a lot and was really impressed by this hotel.

My stay at Excelsior was simply lovely. The staff at the hotel were friendly, accommodating and professional. The room was the perfect size, the bed was super comfy and the view was spectacular. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices and offerings.

The only note on what I would change, would be to wash all linens and towels in unscented laundry soaps and products. I am very sensitive to synthetic and artificial scents. The towels and bedding were slightly irritating for me.

On the beach with good views

A beautiful modern chic hotel right on the beach and only a short walk into the centro. Helpful staff. Marvellous facilities. To be highly recommended.

Air conditioning is always an issue. We are obsessed with AC in the USA…in Europe, not so much. I was warm in my room. I survived!

We loved just everything, the beach, the room, the staff and the hospitality, the cleanliness of the whole hotel. Breakfast was amazing and the restaurant too.

Only one thing was off, the water pressure in the shower was low in anytime of the day but other than that it was a wonderful stay.

Beautiful view, beach and beach service, hotel location excellent, really excellent bed, but not really 5*

Hotel Excelsior strives for the level of a 5* hotel, but there are a few things that prevent it from really being the case. Breakfast: Is really usual to have eggs Benedict for a fee in 5* hotel? The attendant at the breakfast sporadically offered coffee, tea, we often had to find them and ask for it ourselves, even though they were constantly walking around tables and buffet. The air conditioning and cooling on breakfast buffet worked badly - it really wasn't good, hams, salmon, etc. It was warm, it wasn't good, the stuffed croassants were unfortunately completely normal, like from a COOP, but we definitely had better ones - for example, stuffed mascarpone, etc., unfortunately don't expect that here... The scrambled eggs contained a large amount of water after opening, and when I pointed it out, the lady took them away, spilled the water and returned everything. Very funny. They did not have fresh vegetable ( only tomatoes and once very bad radishes)…. Room: (we had a wonderful view of the sea) is smaller and the bathroom will definitely need renovation, as well as the balcony. Corridor on the 3rd floor: Absolutely dirty and no one did anything about it during the entire stay (4 days).

Excellent value hotel. The exclusive beach, the outdoor hot tubs, the extensive spa facilities overlooking the beach, huge rooms with quality and beautiful decor.

We loved everything about the Excelsior, especially the lovely staff, impeccable cleanliness, the abundant and delicious breakfast, and the generous amenities.

There isn’t anything not to like about this property.
