    Pros +

    • Pools were nice, rooms were clean, nice balcony too. I was there for an event so it was perfect for that.
    • The water was warm in the pools.
    • Beautiful peaceful location. Loved the spa. Food was great with good healthy selection for breakfast and dinner. Nice room, only downside was we could only get bbc news in English on the tv.

    Cons -

    • the AC didnt work because “it wasnt summer yet” at May but the temperature was too hot inside. Also the breakfast was not amazing. The hotel feels a bit old. in this price range I would expect the hotel to be nicer.
    • The AC couldn't be turned on during the first night (a 30 degrees celcius day), the gym is 4 badly maintained machines, the beds are small and uncomfortable. All in all, it was bad value for momey.
    • After a phone call to the hotel to ask what room we should book, we booked the one THEY suggested. Upon arrival they told us us we needed to pay MORE money for each child. We ended up sleeping in 4 on one bed, I paid 200 euro a night. No solutions or alternatives were suggested. The hotel was fine, the pools were good for kids. But there is an air of un warranted superiority about the staff. Like they are trying to cling on to the nobility the hotel used to have by implementing nonsensical policies and being overly rigid for no reason. The hotel is old, most of the area is in decline, the rooms are basic and cold (we had a superior). Feels like a sad place. Best part is they tried to claim I didn't pay to booking, I should be asking booking for a refund.

The proximity to the Y40 deep joy centre. The lobby and bar for aperativo was great. Access to the spa facilities was included and very enjoyable.

The overall feel of the hotel was a little dated.

    7GeorgePosted on: 2-1-2025

The Y40, too big advantage of this hotel.

The climate of the room. 23 celsius degree is the minimum. Too much. The breakfast is like in a 2 star hostel. The first day is only twi slice off “value” cheese. Mortadella is older than me. This breakfast is not enough for this price. The climate conroll is less than avarage.

The room was spacious and very nice. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious, clean, and with plenty of towels and amenities. Breakfast the next morning was very good as well. It was a lovely stay overall and I would recommend it, especially if you're diving at Y-40.

I didn't get a chance to visit the spa, but that's only because I basically just slept at the hotel since I was diving at Y-40 and went out for dinner with my diving companions. The room was also quite warm but I'm sure that's because it's too early in the year for AC, so I just opened the sliding door to the balcony for a while and it was fine.

Breakfast was yummy, would have been nice to have refill on some prodacts like fruit. The thermals pools were amazing and the walking distance to the Y-40 pool - superb!!!

My room was spacious and clean, and looked quite nice. It even had a balcony, which I hadn’t realized beforehand. Breakfast was also pretty good, and at reasonable hours as well. The location next to the Y-40 was perfect for me, too. Finally, the staff was generally very friendly, only a single person was a bit rude.

The balcony door didn’t isolate very well, so you constantly had to heat the room to keep it warm. Also, I missed a healthy cereal option (like muesli) at breakfast.
