    • The staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful. We happened to be there the day of Italy’s biggest summer festival, and we had booked ahead for dinner at the hotel. The staff had arranged a party, with live music, outside by the pool. It was magical. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding. We speak only a little Italian; the staff went out of its way to explain things in English throughout our stay. Every single person we interacted with was so welcoming that we felt happy just being there. The accommodations were clean, quiet, and very comfortable.

    Cons -

    • Internet did not work, very poor connection. Breakfast was ok, nothing great. Room temperature was very uncomfortable and air did not seem to work. Shower door came off the handles. Pool water was not as warm as I expected.
    • We were a group of 8 people staying at this hotel in Abano Terme. I traveled from Canada for a short trip, and one of my friends came from the Netherlands to celebrate her birthday, which she had planned for three months. While using the elevator (within the weight limit), it got stuck and we were trapped for over an hour. Two people suffered panic attacks, we could barely breathe, and the situation was terrifying. What made it worse was the staff laughing outside, showing no empathy or urgency.I traveled more than 8 hours and ended up staying less than 24 hours, missing half of my trip due to the emotional shock. This hotel clearly does not care about customer safety or customer satisfaction.I do not recommend this hotel. A carefully planned birthday trip turned into a terrible and unforgettable experience.
    • Nothing. The hotel and its staff exceeded our expectations.

Nice touch to offer guests pre dinner aperitivo

Very poor Check in system, the longest i have ever experienced, it took a lot of our time. Same for check out. 3 staff at reception and still long waits.

Amazing location: the high speed trains stop just outside of the hotel. It's 45 minutes to Venice and 15 minutes to Padova. The hotel has great amenities, especially the thermal pools and the spa. Even during peak tourist season (mid-July, although we were here on work week days) the hotel was not overcrowded and had a calm atmosphere.Highly recommend staying here, it was an amazing experience at an unbeatable price.

It was a nice hotel in a cute little town with plenty of parking. It was across the street from train station which gave access to Venice and Padua.

The reception staff in general were rude and arrogant However the pool and restaurant staff were very pleasant! The pool was too warm for summer heat.

I liked that the bus stop and train station was just outside the hotel.

I didn't like the people next door, arguing, slamming doors and had no respect for anyone else.

Friendly staff, spacious comfortable room, great breakfast, good dinner, (excellent house wine) very pleasant lunch at poolside bistro. The spa staff (providing towels) were particularly pleasant. The location close to the station was very useful for us. Also had a very interesting chat with hotel manager.

Didn’t like the constant pop music played, even outside around the pool. It was irritating and not restful. The town of Montegrotto feels neglected with many shops and hotels closed.

    The parking + Roomsize

The rooms are equipped minimally, the breakfast lacks vegetables, you can't take food not even bread freely a bit stingy.

Warm pools -34C water temp.Welcoming staffWe had the half board, the food was just amazing every single day a different set of starter, first course, second course desert as well as a welcome buffet often full of seafood: prawns, octopus, fish and variety of veg.

There is no direct access to the hotel from the parking, you need to walk around the hotel which is a bit tricky at first, so we got lost and couldn’t find the reception. Do not enter from the pool area.

    8MilanPosted on: 3-2-2024

Breakfast is very good and there is provided parking place if you come with a car.

It was quite warm inside the room, hard to sleep, it seems the air conditioning doesn’t work in a proper way, the price is also a bit higher than it should be.

The pool was nice and warm, it's always nice to be outdoors in thermal waters. The dinner at the restaurant was really good ?The maitre was also very pleasant.

For the price, too little was included. The first night due to traffic, we arrived at 20:30 for the check-in. Dinner is supposed to end at 9pm, but at the reception the girl told us that it's too late for dinner, because the kitchen closes at 8:45 pm, so not even the buffet salad dinner was offered to us even if we paid for the extra. The 2nd night we could have dinner so we went as soon as they opened, but the service in the restaurant was a little too much in a hurry, trying to give us the next plates too fast and asking often if we were done with that one, so the delicious food could have been even better. The room is definitely smaller than advertised, although we had a big terrace in the first floor where people above could ash on us, and guess what? There was some construction work on top of the pool, so the workers could watch us, as well as people walking to the Spa from a corridor, so I wished for more privacy. The Shampoo and Shower gel were empty, and they didn't fill them up even if I asked the next morning. The walls had some big noticeable humidity stains which is not okay for a thermal Spa Hotel...If you're still reading this, I guess you know I did not enjoy my stay as expected, but honestly, what bothered me the most was at the checkout:After waiting around 25 minutes for the long queue at the reception, we finally arrived and the receptionist asked us how was our stay, my gf said it was nice ???, and I looked at her and said: ??? So the receptionist asked me why didn't I like it? I said it's okay, but he insisted to know why. So I started telling him about the stains in the room and then he started ignoring me straight and told me I should have gotten the next higher category, but I tried to tell him that it was not nice to pay 200+€ for a night in a small room with damp stains, but he wouldn't listen and he just handed me over a little paper voucher for a 5 or 10% discount while ignoring me.

    The spa staff were nice.

Barley I can call it 4 star hotel.Only suger and 2 tea bag are free in the room. Even the water u will get charged.Staff are useless, i went to the city for a business meeting from dubai, and i had to iron my shirt and they didnt have any iron and ironning table which was the first time in whole my life saw such a thing in a 4 star hotel. Even i begged the reception to help me with the matter through housekeeping department but she said supervisor is not ther, they are not available, blah blah blah. They are telling breakfast is buffet style but funny part is u cannot have ur breakfast urself and u have to ask their staff everytime to give u something.Overall was not worth of the amount i spent

    Good

We booked a room for the night as a spot in the middle of our way from Naples to Serbia. We arrived half an hour before the pool closes and we went to the pool immediately hence I was driving for 10 hours and booked the stay so I can relax even for 5 minutes. The man at the pool said that we can not go to in because the pool is closed even though it was 20:40, I didn’t hesitate to argue hence at the reception we were told to go to the pool. Then he shifted the story that we can not go in because we didn’t have caps on our head, the water was visibly very dirty from standing above and I went in, after a couple of minutes two families came in to the pool freely with no obstruction from the pool keeper. As well from 6:30 till 7:15 the garbage truck was crushing glass just in front of our window and windows of all other guests. I did not relax one bit nor did I have ok sleep to continue driving.

Everything, from check in to check out went smoothly, lovely clean, modern, room with balcony. We were half board and the food choice at dinner was excellent and of a high standard (although breakfast was expensive for what it was - €20 if evening meal is €35 out of €55 daily total ). The adjacent location to a train station is fantastic for sightseeing. The hotel has superb spa facilities, but we had so much to see and do - we barely had time to use anything.. All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful, most of our interaction was with the waiters and waitresses who are a credit to the impression we have of the Hotel Mioni.

Negligible things - not worth mentioning, overall impression was excellent. This was not our first visit and returning wasn't a disappointment

    new style

unfortunately we could not use any of the Spa facilities, as it was so crowded

It was pleasant and relaxing. Our room was spacious and the food was very good.

There was construction in the front, but it wasn’t really a problem.

    The massage

The hotel is just on the railway station, the trains passing bay have a great noise, It is however an advantage if you travel by train...
