Hotel Terme Olympia

I have stayed in this hotel several times during the last approximately 10 - 15? years, and I very much appreciate its keeping up the good quality and the personal style - honest, nothing fakethe staff has always made me feel welcome and special the location near the railway station is very convenient for meI like the traditional comfort the hotel offers; I do not appreciate continuous renovations or unnecessary showy details I appreciate the spacious bathroom and the balconyI like the simple safe with a key and the ever important whole body size mirror to see your shoesthe breakfast is very substantial with good quality ingredients and served nicely in a large dining roomthere is a charming little bar open late in the evening for coffee/drinks; I am out all day so have no experience about mealsthe garden in the front is spacious with places to sit in the shade

this time my balcony unfortunately was not on the sunny sideI do not like the green carpet around the swimming pool, would prefer a tile pavement

Magic pools

No kettle, but didn’t expect one. It’s Italy not England. No prob.

Not much. Only free parking and Spa area but this also need to be refresh!

Old Communism style rooms. Inside is old Soviet Union style ,not much to Say. Rooms interior from 1970, bathroom the same. Small shower like in 1980 Soviet Union style! Beds not at all wnjoyed sleeping on them.Very poor breakfast , for 130 euro per night this wqs mistake. I just stay 1 night and do not recommend!

A perfectly verdant, friendly, serene and relaxing place to pause in the middle of sightseeing in the Veneto region. You can soak in thermal pools, stroll the pretty street, sink into a comfy sofa in the light filled lounge area, let the sunshine warm you outside and feast on a well thought out menu 3 times a day. Staff were lovely and attentive. Perfectly located for day trips to nearby destinations like Padua and wineries. The massage was amazing and the steam over the outdoor pool on a cold night was magical.

My room was comfortable, quiet,spacious and well equipped although the decor a little tired. It would not stop me from revisiting however.

There is an indoor pool connected to an outdoor pool, open from 7am, clean and warm. If one doesn't speak different languages, receptionist is quite multi-lingual. If you do want to stay after check-out, you may stay on the pool and use the changing cabin at your disposal.

Breakfast is rather basic; for one night ok, coffee had to be ordered. It's only from 8-10am. Checkout is quite early: 10:30.Ongoing evening program around the pool of the neighbour hotel makes it impossible to open the window until late in the evening. Room is quite small and carpet shows strong signs of use.

Breakfast may be improved, in selection and quality. Air conditioning not so efficient and noisy.

Breakfast buffet was medium-sized, but had everything one desires for breakfast. Room and bath is rather small, but clean and the clothing storage is above average. The atmosphere in the hotel is very laid-back and friendly. The therapies (massages etc) were very good and available even if booked on short notice.

Pool facilities have come to a certain age, the concept where you find what is a bit historically grown and lacks a bit of logic sometimes. There is a Finnish sauna but the cold showers are far away.

Despite the couple of minor issues, nice place. Special mention to the waiter (I forget his name) who insisted on speaking English to me. Very nice gentlemen. Also to the barman, one of two brothers, also funny guy.Evening meal was good but thr lunch menylu good. Friendly staff, cute little place, reasonable value for a single room for two nights. No real complaints, just attention to detail on a couple of things but it's a nice small friendly place.

Bit of confusion on arrival. Receptionist wanted me to give her 50 Euros cash because my Booking arrival hadn't come through. I refused and said the booking from Booking is on its way.I went down to the bar before evening meal the first evening. There is a small window of 45 mins to enter and I had arrived late so I was at thr bar a bit late. When I asked for a drink i was told the barman was eating his dinner. Can anyone else serve me? No. Then a barman cameout to get something from the bar but he said he couldn't serve me as he was working drinks in the restaurant. In the end I got my drink but then get a bit of grief for arriving in the restaurant at the bitter end..Even though it wasn't really my fault.Second evening much better service.

Spa facilities

The building needs restoration. Some jacuzzi were not functioning. There is no panorama from the room where I stayed

The staff was excellent in both arriving and checking out

The pools are to small No free space to practice swimming

I stayed here for few days to take a break from rainy Netherlads and it has been the most rewarding weekend. The pool was big enough to constantly feel in a different place whenever you were swimming inside and/or outside. Breakfast was very rich and, as one would imagine from Italy, delicious.

I regret staying for only two days, but this pushes me to come back and visit more of the Colli Euganei and I did not have time to go to Venice which is just around the corner and easy to reach!

Only stayed one night, but enjoy everything about the hotel.
