Palace Hotel San Pietro

It was near where we wanted to be, without being in the noisy part of town -- AND my o'lady enjoyed the pool and hot tube in a way that pleased me mightily!!! ...because I'm never happy until she is happy -- this joint rocked it!!

The desk staff is second to none in customer service... even our most ridiculous requests were treated with dignity and respect

Our room was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good.The staff went out of their way to assist us when we had car difficulties.

The hotel is allright, it is old. The breakfast was not good - the products did not feel fresh. The hotel is very expensive for what you get. We were kind of disappointed.

It's visible that the hotel is old, the pool does not have a lot of sun hours, the breakfast was not very fresh.

The staff at the reception could be more hospitable, welcoming and friendly. During our check-in we were not informed that the spa needed to be pre-ordered (2 hours in advance) and to be additionally paid.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic close to town but in a quiet area. The breakfast was amazing. I'd go back just for the croissants! The pool and other facilities are beautiful.

The beds were uncomfortable (very hard). If you get a room under the kitchen on the roof top terrace it is noisy starting at 7 am.

The hotel is centrally located. The pool was great. The staff was wonderful. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The blow dryers need to be changed.

Wonderful hotel! The staff were excellent, especially Silva who assisted us with our plans to explore Lake Garda each day, and offered us local advice and the wonderful waitress staff who served us at breakfast each day! The hotel was well located, it had everything we required, and was spacious! Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

The room was a little small even although it was a superior one.

Excellwnt location just next to the old town, close to the seashore and lots of reataurants. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was exceptionally attentive at the restaurant.

Great location. It felt clean, classy & spacious. The pool and jacuzzi looked amazing but unfortunately the rain stopped play for us.

The only downside was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Hotel is a short walk from the bustle of lovely Bardolino and the bed was comfy.

Turn the lights down guys!!!! It felt like I was staying in a hospital waiting room, it is so highly lit everywhere and it all feels rather cold and austere.We didn’t use the pool area but it doesn’t look like the pics, it’s a small pool crammed in between the hotel and the road.

Wide range of choices for breakfast and we particularly enjoyed the made to order strawberries and cream filled croissants.Excellent convenient location with a very short walk into the main areas of the town.

There were several changes of staff on reception duty. We never knew who was in charge and communication could have been better. They were all very friendly and helpful despite this.

Great location. Restaurant is located on 4th floor so during breakfast you can enjoy Garda lake view.

The price for the room was too high compared to what you actually get. The room was very small, the shower had mold, and water leaked throughout the entire bathroom. The toilet flusher was broken, causing it to leak water after flushing. Our bedding wasn't changed during our 5-night stay, except for one blanket cover that was changed on the last night—why weren't the others? There are no utensils in the room, so if you want to drink wine from a local winery, you won't be able to open it. And here's a surprising fact: there’s a note on the fridge stating that you cannot store anything in the hotel room's refrigerator unless it was purchased on-site—mamma mia, I have traveled my whole life and have never seen anything like this. By the swimming pool, there is a system to reserve a spot for the next day, meaning you have to plan your pool time in advance. This means that when you arrive at the hotel, there is a high probability that you won't be able to get a spot by the pool for the next day. There was no fish at breakfast, so we asked the waitress if it was possible to get some (since my wife and I don't eat pork), but she didn't speak English well. Luckily, the restaurant chef noticed the confusion and approached me, asking in good English what we wanted—we got a salmon omelet. So, as for the food, meat lovers will find plenty to enjoy, but if you don't eat pork, you must ask specifically.
