Hotel Sole Malcesine

The hotel is clean with a decent breakfast. I love the location because it is very convenient and comfortable to get to the lake. The view from the rooms is lovely. You can see Limone across the lake, and you can see all the different watersport activities taking place. The staff is very hospitable and happy to help you with what you need. I love that they are dog-friendly. I have a big dog, an Alaskan Malamute, and the staff is very welcoming. I love the laid-back chill vibe it has.

The hotel coffee at breakfast is not very good. I would recommend just going downstairs and ordering a coffee from the hotel lobby; it is much better. It is worth paying the extra euro for it. I would have liked a stronger AC unit as the room can get a bit warm for me, but I am one of those people who like a cold room.

We received a free upgrade to "Double Room With Balcony and Partial Lake View" and we received a modern and very nice room. The original standard room looks the same in the picture, but no balcony and smaller window. Everything was very clean and the beds very comfortable. We didn't have time to enjoy the swimming pool, but the area looks very nice; also the terrace with the view over the lake. The hotel offers a secured bicycles' storage room, being one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices and many fresh fruits and vegetables.

The bathroom is not properly ventilated and there are already signs of mold on the ceiling, which is pity considering the overall accommodation appearance and comfort. A bit too isolated for some. Check out is too soon at 10AM.

The buffet breakfast and paid dinner were good. The pool was nice for the family.

The room was way too small for a family of four. the balcony had a shelf over the edge so a good view was difficult. We felt the place was over priced for what we received. the AC did not work well and had a limit.

Friendly staff, perfect location for public transport. Food was amazing. Beautiful view of the lake. Pool and spa facilities were really relaxing. Will definitely be back next year!

Great location and customer service. Rooms very spacious and clean. Air condition units worked really well. Very good breakfast.

Very nice, basicaly on the water. Not a huge place, has parking lot in front of the hotel (from 8pm free), breakfast was fine (not too many options), room was clean. We got a place for three people - and the balcony is so high, that you can barely see the lake, which is a shame.

The room was okay, on a smaller side - but the extra bed was not comfortable at all. We stayed one night, but I cannot imagine sleeping on it for longer. You can hear your neighbours. The breakfast area was not very clean, we were also told we cannot sit outside, which was a shame. I think it is a bit overpriced for what is provided.

The hotel was next to beach which was really nice. Parking spots were available. Terrace was really good because there you could see sunset. And also sunbaths were on terrace which were really comfortable.

The parking cost 5€/day but considering the accomodation price, it should be free or staying price should be lower. Breakfast was poor because there weren’t sausage (only bacon), scrambled egg was cold when we got there (9 am and breakfast was served from 7). To juices - there all were a but too light. Hotel should think adding some stronger flavours like multinectar or orange. We got a room with balcony but unfortunately this balcony was with a view to inside “garden” where were technical equipment and it was not nice. Pool water was also a bit too cold.

Beautiful view of the lake from the room. Breakfast was good variety. Pool area is nice as well. Staff was friendly and did me a favor by blowing up balloons and hanging them along with a happy birthday banner in the room to surprise my boyfriend for his bday!! (I brought the things and they did it for me) very nice and much appreciated!

Jacuzzi in the spa area needs to be cleaned a bit better and spa area needs a little maintenance but it’s nice and good if you just want to relax. Sauna was nice.
