Loved everything about this property, the location, view, staff, free bikes, breakfast

I’m not exaggerating when saying - this was the best hotel experience in many many years. Starting with: we arrived at midnight and the young lady that was meeting us was very helpful, patient and friendly. She said “sorry, the kitchen is already closed, but if you want I can prepare a toast or something, you’ve been driving so long, you must be hungry”. We weren’t, but it was so sweet of her to suggest that. All the staff is just great, welcoming and positive! Hotel has fantastic chef and they serve great 5 course dinners at a very reasonable price. The breakfasts are very tasty too. There’s also a spa zone which made our stay even more relaxing. And of course, the location…I have no words, I woke up with the most beautiful view possible.

This hotel is very nice. The breakfast is great. The room is large and cute. The view from our balcony was great. I will say though my parents had a balcony, lake view as well and paid same price, and it was not as good of a view as ours (disappointing).

The location is a bit of a hike into town. Not bad for a few days stay but can get old after staying for 6 nights. The jacuzzi is not hot enough.. disappointed. But none of these are deal breakers. Would stay at this hotel again.

I was so pleased with everything about Hotel Capri! The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large patio overlooking the lake. The staff were wonderful, especially the gentleman who seemed to always be available at reception, the bar area and the breakfast room. They serve one of the best breakfast buffets ever, with a huge variety of anything you could want, plus eggs and bacon made to order. The hotel is a few minutes’ walk from the heart of Malcesine, the ferry dock, and the cable car to Mt Baldo. I would be so happy to stay here again!

This isn’t a criticism of the hotel, just a possible negative for some people. Walking in from the bus, it was either a few minutes up a hill without much space from cars, or going up a couple flights of stairs. Not a problem for us, but people who are less mobile should be aware.

Beautiful location, spectacular views and so close to walk to the town. Very close to the cable car which is worth doing for the views. Staff were more than helpful. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant was amazing and the view just made it. Can't compliment Hotel Capri enough, will definitely visit again.

Everything was excellent! Gorgeous views of the lake! Breakfast was always delicious. Dinner also fabulous. Extremely well run boutique hotel. Marco and Gaia were so lovely and made us feel well cared for. Would definitely return.

great hotel on a great location in a beautiful town! Don't know why this hotel doesn't have more than 3 stars. Fantastic employees, good breakfast. Private Spa that you can book at arrival.

Everything about the 'Capri' was excellent. We went for the suite which had 2 bathrooms and a great balcony overlooking lake Garda. Breakfast was very good and the staff were attentive and polite.Oh and did I mention the kingsized ROUND bed facing out to the lake.The town of Malcisine is a short walk away and has plenty of restaurants and bars along the lake front.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, stunning location. Fantastic value for money. We were also given a complimentary drink as it was our honeymoon.

A lovely hotel just a few minutes walk into town. It was in a quieter part of the town which we preferred yet a few minutes walk into town for food or just a stroll. The staff were particularly exceptional in accommodating requests and giving pointers for hikes nearby. My kids loved having private access to the wellness center with jacuzzi and sauna.The apartment itself was well equipped and had a beautiful view.

Shower drain was plugged - but they put us in a new (upgraded!) room right away.

Everything! Exceptional hospitality, especially from the MANAGER, Emil! We were stuck at the bus terminal in Garda, with no buses running, and he went out of his way to come and pick us up. He and his staff couldn't do enough to make our stay incredible. The service and facilities were fabulous and the view? Just WOW! I would give them a 1000 stars if I could. Do yourself a favour and stay here. You won't regret it.

Everything was great! Room had a beautiful view with a small balcony overlooking Lake Garda and the village. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding and healthy! Spa was a nice bonus after a long day of walking around the town and castle - hot tub and sauna (you book out to have the spa area to yourselves.) Private parking on their property.

Climbing the stairs with our bags - should have packed lighter! hahah

I loved everything about the hotel. The size and facilities in the room, the view, the lake promenade below the hotel.The staff especially at breakfast were excellent and always with a smile. They made pancakes and crepes for my children. The breakfast is varied and the products are of high quality. The hot tub was nice and clean too. The pool is cleaned every day even though it was October (and nobody went in the water). Very clean hotel.I don't know how the stars are given in Italy, but they made a mistake, this hotel should be 4 if not 5 stars.

The activity brochures which contain discounts to major attractions are at a far corner past the bar, where many guests would miss it.I only saw it by chance upon checkout, and discovered I could have paid much less for Gardaland, for instance.
