Hotel Ca' Vecchia

Good breakfast. Pet friendly, the hotel is in a private park. The restaurant has a good selection of local food and wine.Clean rooms comfy beds.

Disappointing

There was a lot of stink bugs (more than 15) on the curtains and on the sheets and pillows! I can understand there is a forest all around but I have stayed in many places surrounded by nature and there were no bugs. Try to eliminate them because it is not comfortable at all to see them.

I have to say, only the greenery outside my housing, the trees were magnificent. Unfortunately not much else.

The room was nothing like the one in advertisement. Tiny window with closed shades I couldn‘t open as the opening was outside the property border

The situation is away from any busy areas and consequently calm. Despite the fact that some staff speak only Italian, the reception was very easy and the personnel very friendly and helpful.

The onsite restaurant is not of high quality. The food is passable, but the menu is restricted.

very good location for a short stop during a longer journey, especially if you have a dog (a lot of space to run)

The road to get there from the motorway is not easy, many works ongoing (not fault of the facility of course)

Location was great, surrounded by green and certainly no traffic noise. Room plain but perfectly comfortable. Good restaurant for dinner and decent breakfast.

Like many Italian hotels, tiled floors and staircases make it very noisy late at night or early mornings when other guests are moving about and who clearly don't give a damn.

There were bed bugs in my room and while I was allowed to change rooms, I was refused a refund or discount (to pay for laundry for my bag) in the morning.

There was music playing from the restaurant until 23:30. It was unbelievably loud, to the point that the windows were shaking. I’m sure it was loads of fun for the people who were there. But if you are tired and want to sleep early, this place is not for you. In fairness, I don’t know if this is an ongoing event or if it was a one-off. So if this matters to you, check with the hotel to see if there will be window-rattling music on the night(s) that you plan to be there. My stay was absolutely lovely, except for that.

Awful to find the place. Room itself adequate except sound proofing from next door room. We could loudly hear all from the toilet!! Talking fairly clear also. Breakfast only adequate. Poor choice, no fruit.

This is a very beatiful place to stay surrounded by the nice park. Very quiet. Very good coffee and staff.

There could be a teapot and some cups in the room to make tea or coffee. Breakfast could be a bit more solid for the turists from other countries - sandwiches or something like that.

Nice and quiet place, not so far from the city of Bologna but in the middle of the green countryside. The staff was kind, the parking is huge, the brekfast is ok for the price, wi-fi was ok, all in all the place it's ok for the money.

The furniture are quite cheap, and again, it's ok for the price. But there was bugs in the room (probably because the place it's in the countryside and the window was open), hot water not ok late at night (quite ok in the morning), the shower was not perfectly fixed (some leakage), the bed not too comfortable.

A very quiet place, loved it.
