Hotel Luna Mondschein

Hotel was well situated for walking to dinners and gondola. The staff was better than good. We really enjoyed our stay.

Luxury accommodations with stunning garden and spa! Exceptional staff. Breakfasts and dinners were high quality and delicious. Buffets were abundant with great variety with fresh, local cuisine. Property was impeccably clean.

The location was just a short walk to the lift for Seceda, the room was so comfortable, the bath was large enough for a tall adult to relax in, the grounds were so fun for our child, and the pools and saunas were such an added bonus. The restaurant was also full of fresh, delicious, local foods.

There was nothing we didn’t like- it was perfect.

I have NEVER gave hotels a 10/10 rating. This property had my heart with the landscape artistry, immaculate cleanliness, antique and charming, not dingy interior decor, comfortable beds, spa options, spacious parking space, and more. You can tell that the staffs take pride in maintaining every corner of this hotel. It was so cozy yet professional at every level. The breakfast was delicious and had many healthy options. I just wished that I could've stayed longer. Absolutely stunning place and thank you for all your hard work!

Superb operation. Great room with a view of the mountains and with all the amenities. We had signed up for half-board (breakfast and dinner), and we were glad we did. So convenient with good food and very pleasant service from all. Luna Mondschein is located very close (10-minute walk and through the old town), to a gondola where we could ride to the top of the plateau (the largest in Europe, we were told) and hike. Easy access and memorable day.Also a big plus is a very nice self-service laundromat a five-minute walk from the hotel. We travel light, so this was great. Covered parking for our car was free and convenient just under/next to the hotel.Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to use all the facilities, but it’s a beautiful property. We wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely return.

Everything was perfect!

The breakfast was exceptional: high quality food with many selections. The room and bathroom were nice and spacious.The location was great. We also loved their sauna and used it a lot. It relexed the muscles and recharged us for the next day activities in Ortisei.

For a 4 star hotel, I expected a desk and a chair in the room. But there were none of them, which was unusal.

This hotel is beautiful and the staff is fabulous. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The spa facilities are immaculately clean and well maintained. The breakfast is delicious and the bar has well priced and well made cocktails, beer and wine. It’s a short walk to town and there are great restaurants along the way.

The gym is a bit sparse, but has what is needed for a quick workout.

Beautiful hotel, the staff were so friendly, the rooms and beds were very comfortable, the spa was amazing and the food was fantastic! If you book here, definitely include dinner, every night the menu changed and everything we ate was delicious. There were vegetarian options as well as fish and meat. We highly recommend this place, it far exceeded our expectations (which were already high).

Great location! Friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet, afternoon treats in the bar, nice sauna and pool area. Gym is small is dated.

Hard to regulate room temperature

The staff was very attentive. The facilities were coz and comfortable with different areas to enjoy. The outdoor garden area is lovely, and the indoor pool very fun. The breakfast buffet is superb, and the dinner was very good as well. We had a wonderful stay!

The evening restaurant menu was a fixed price 3 course menu. It was very good, affordable, and it changes every day, but one night we wanted a lighter meal, and we had to go elsewhere, because the hotel only offered the fixed price menu.

Beautiful hotel with lots of amenities. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent.

While located outside of city center, it is only a short walk uphill to the center and all the lifts.

The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations, including the indoor pool, sauna, and gardens, and the staff were wonderful. We would thoroughly recommend it.

The setting, the beautiful gardens and the pool were a welcome oasis after a day of hiking. Breakfasts were delicious! Staff were friendly and helpful.We had an amazing view from our balcony!

The heating system was turned on prematurely, so the room was very warm. We kept our windows and door open as much as possible.

Eventhough it was located in a quieter part of town, the road noise in the evening and even into night and early morning was not good.
