Hotel Villa Rainer

It was my second stay this summer and I loved it even more. Villa Reiner has the best beach around woerthersee. The views are breathtaking. Absolutely stunning food both berakfest and dinner. Hotel crew is very helpful and friendly. Whole place is devine and tranquile. Highly recomend. Very regenerative.

Right on the water with access to SUPs, kayak etc. Amazing breakfast, comfortable beds, lovely staff.

Lack of air con meant needing to leave the window open overnight risking mosquitoes and wasps entering, and music from the restaurant/bar at 06.30 waking us up.

Breakfast was very good and the location of the hotel was idyllic. It was right on the lake, super for all watersport. Nuad Thai Yoga with Katharina was best.

My room was at the back of the property overlooking the car park.

The location is excellent, situated in a pleasant and well-kept area away from the crowded tourist spots. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in a serene setting while still being conveniently close to key attractions.

It's important to note that the rooms lack air conditioning and refrigerators, so in hot weather, you'll need to rely on the bar for cold drinks. Unfortunately, this is where the experience took a turn for the worse.I have never experienced such unfriendly, impolite, and unprofessional service in a hotel restaurant in any country. The staff's attitude was appalling and completely ruined what should have been a relaxing stay. The breakfast was also very modest, far below the standard one would expect for 600 euros per night.Additionally, the water pressure in the bathroom was very weak, making it difficult to take a shower in a reasonable amount of time. However, the most significant issue was the restaurant staff's behavior, which left a lasting negative impression.If the hotel administration wants guests to return, they must address the quality of the food and the conduct of the restaurant staff. Improvements in these areas are essential for providing a satisfactory guest experience.

Absolutely stunning location and historic building and grounds. Staff was very friendly, food and drinks were great, and so many options for activities from Tennis to swimming to waterskiing. Great rooms for families.

Only issue I had was that I couldnt get internet/wifi in my room, I was staying in the front of the hotel. Elsewhere the internet was excellent.

Outstanding staff! Any/all requests were met with sincerity and a sense of pride and purpose. We were there for Ironman weekend and we were treated like we were VIPs.

Breakfast. It was stressful eating breakfast there. Not enough staff, yelling and service was bad .

Excellent placing, in front of your balcon you can see the lake, beautiful garden, delicious food and very-very kind staff. Try it, worth to have active or passive relaxation even with a dog!

I can’t tell. Maybe a plus pillow just for resting in the room could be useful. But it’s a very minimal thing:)

A quiet and nicely kept place at the lake

Location is just perfect and also the properry itself. The staff was friendly and helpfull. They even managed to deal with two heavy storms and cutting a fallen tree withou harrasin the guests much. Breakfast had varaity and was affluent.

As it was high season and the hotel fully booked, the cleaniness lacked a bit. Thru the stay we did ocationaly did find gummi bears or dog granules rotting in the corners. The garden staff kept walking into an in the wellness area in garden boots.Coffee. Just awfull. Sombody please set up the coffee machines and order some other blend.

There is no refrigerator in the room, also one bottle of water every day during the stay at least would be a remarkable kindness for this price level. Also a coffee machine should be a standard already for this type of hotel, especially you have limited possibility to get coffee or tee in the room.

Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and did not get boring after a few mornings. Something for everyone from our 2 year old to us. The location is amazing and lakes access beautiful. The resort staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English and Austrian usually.

Rooms were clean, but a bit outdated. Bed was comfortable but not the biggest.
