The staff was very helpful and the environment around the property was exceptional

The rooms don't have an AC. It wouldn't be a problem - I actually prefer an open window, but there was no mosquito net and people on the balcony below were smoking. Therefore there was a very strong cigarette smell in the room.

We used stairs in our building to reach second floor. An elevator would have been nice.

Everything was very good: The hotel upgraded our room to a larger one with two balconies and a beautiful view. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Gorgeous property with so many options for kids and adults! Indoor and outdoor pool, play area, gaming room, spa/sauna, FANTASTIC breakfast and great location! Would 100% stay again.

The hotel and grounds were lovely and decorated in the traditional Bavarian style. The breakfast was delicious with plentiful options. We really enjoyed the drinks/snacks so we could sit and chat and play cards with our groupLoved our stay here and would come back again if we are in the Berchtesgaden area again. It was a complete delight to be here!

Location and facilities are excellent.

Evening meals were very limited and not really of a standard matching the facilities - sausage, pizza or toasties were the only choices.

Fantastic hotel. Very charming with art work throughout the premises. You can see that there is a lot of attention to every detail. Very friendly staff, very accommodating. They demonstrate that guest satisfaction is their top priority. Great breakfast. Wonderful and relaxing spa area. Manicured landscaping. Whether it’s only for a few nights or for a longer stay, this is the perfect place. Highly recommendable.

The restaurant lags a little behind the great hotel. Snacks are offered and sometimes a fresh meal. Those are all ok but a few nice fresh items on the menu would be great.

The facility had many enjoyable amenities such as outdoor and heated pool, outdoor playground for children, and a restaurant. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was spacious and perfect for our family of five. The breakfast was very good too.

The hotel seemed a bit outdated and the beds were not the most comfortable.

Tremendous view from our balcony. Large room with couch and desk made our 9 day stay very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent for dinner. They had specials every night and really tried to keep things interesting. Great/varied standard menu as well. The wait staff was very kind and friendly. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Pool and sauna area were also very nice and well maintained.

The only knock I have on this place is the lack of proper weights or a machine in their fitness room. Getting a good workout is very important to me, so for those who don't work out with weights, no big deal. Otherwise, I used the pool quite a bit instead and loved it.

No lift and the path from car parking to hotel entrance has pebbles path. So it was not possible to drag our trolleys so had to pick them up. That was the only negative thing i could say.

Reception was great - we got an upgrade to a small room with a balcony. And free drinks at the bar.

Welcome Reception Drinks ? Breakfast and restaurant food was great and offered good variety and quality food. Pool indoor and sauna onsite ! Hiking right out the door.

No elevator, stairs are steep so if you can’t navigate that with your luggage/physical health look elsewhere or book a bottom room. Receptionist wasn’t very welcoming but we got over it.

Very friendly staff. Excellent location. Secluded from the center & Konigsee yet not far. Property is big but very well maintained.The food in the restaurant was too good. Room was big enough.

Coffee in the restaurant was not good.

Location lovely. Fab view. Breakfast was ok, probably up to local standards which are average. Coffees from the machine were adequate but the prepared flasks were not. Quite crowded at peak breakfast time. Evening meals were good. It’s worth knowing this is very much a family hotel. Lots of small children. They were largely very well behaved. But not really a couples place.

It was hot. No AC. We had balcony door open at night. Our neighbour woke at 6am both days we were there to smoke on his balcony. The smell woke us each time and filled our room. Horrible. They need to ban smoking on the balconies. It is more than distasteful it is a health hazard.

Unfortunately no lift is available.We wished that the indoor pool be slightly warmer.

We loved the whole area and large hotel's garden with a very nice outdoor swimming pool. Breakfast was also great and all the employees were extremely nice and helpful. We definitely want to come back.

Our room was above the main entrance and it could get pretty loud during nights and early mornings.
