The room was nice and the bed was comforable.The bathroom was clean and updated, There is a bus stop right outside the front door. The resturant served very good food and the breakfast was excellant.(extra charge) Great WIFI connection in the new section.

The bed pillows are not good. There isn't someone at the front desk 24 hours a day. Our room phone didn't work to call front desk. Partially blocked view of the mountain. Only German speaking TV. No refrigerator or microwave. Only one local market.

The room was great! There is a nice big shower with hot water all the time. The room is spiciest with a nice view. The stuff was very nice and helpful. We loved the breakfast there were a lot of options (15€ per person). We also eat dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was very good.

The elevator work very slow but they told us this when we checked in. We were on the first floor so we didn’t mind to take the stairs.

The room was big and nice, a large bath tub and a small creek under our window :-)The staff was pleasant and helpful.

We booked this hotel specifically after a long day knowing that there is dinner in-house. To our surprise the hotel restaurant was closed even though in booking site it says open every day.The elevator is HORRIBLE! We were sure on our first ride that we are stuck in the elevator and started to panic.It takes 1 minute and 40 seconds to reach the 3rd floor from the lobby, during which the elevator appears to not move at all. Quite unpleasant.

The staffs were very welcoming and kind. The room was clean and really comfortable.

The location is great as it was very near to the Königssee with a picturesque surrounding. The breakfast and dinner were also excellent in the restaurant. The staffs were also helpful and even if we checked in a bit late, they were quite understanding.

The hotel was very clean and nice. Also in a good location with bus connection to both Königsee and Berchtesgaden (although you need to be aware that the busses stop relatively early). The staff was also extremely nice and always helpful.

Minor thing, but the toilet in our room didn't have a ventilation system to get rid of the steam from the shower.

Lady at reception was very kind and spoke great English. We booked last minute and she welcomed us graciously. We ate dinner at restaurant and it was good. Breakfast was very good.

There was some kind of miscommunication, as our room had towels all along the windows/door to the balcony. They were all wet. We went back and asked at reception but she didn't know what we were talking about. They must have cleaned the drapes and the towels were placed underneath to catch any further water that dripped while they dried. We really wanted to use the balcony, but since we were only there one night we just skipped it since we didn't want to disturb whatever was going on with the drapes. She graciously offered to move us to a different room but we declined since it was only one night.

Perfect central location for day trips to nearby Salzburg, St. Wolfgang, Lofer, local, etc. Hotel clean throughout. Nice pool. Wonderful breakfast with nice desserts. In house restaurant excellent/convenient. Comfortable throughout.

Since previous trips, area becoming more crowded. 3 story apartments going in a couple hundred meters up the road.Area losing rural appeal. Cramped original shower in room - used large one in pool/spa area - perfect.

Perfect location, comfortable parking, delicious breakfast, restaurant food was great, sauna and swimming pool were nice. staff were nice and professional.

Clean and spacious family room. Perfect for a family of 4 (or more). Amazing breakfast. Stunning views. The restaurant was delicious as well.

No elevator.

Plenty of parking, but also has a bus stop just across the street. The pool is much bigger and nicer in real life than the pictures show. Our breakfast was included and it was a nice, but standard, continental European buffet. Dinner and drinks at the restaurant were excellent.

Lots of smokers and it seem that whenever you left a window open, you had second hand smoke flowing into the room. No air conditioning, so you had to leave windows open.

Lovely meals, friendly staff, clean

Parking is limited. Balcony was nice, however there was no view except the top of a garage. Not as shown on Booking site and was much further away from Konigsee than expected.

The reception staff were friendly & helpful, especially Andrea. The mountain view from our room was exceptional. Nice to have a swimming pool although rather cold. The food was quite good, especially breakfast. Free buses with the visitor pass. Hardworking cleaning staff.

The restaurant manager was extremely rude & unhelpful, we didn't feel comfortable when he was around. I complained at the time but he totally ignored us on his next shift. I don't even know if this was followed up as nothing was mentioned again.One waitress wasn't too friendly either. The other restaurant staff were fine. I felt it was because our German was very limited, although we tried, they couldn't be bothered. And we noticed this with other German speaking guests too, there was very little friendliness. They really need a lesson in hospitality & customer service. I stopped buying drinks there because the waiter refused my change & told me to spend it elsewhere. As well as telling me in a very dismissive way "you're in Deutschland now" when I was trying to explain we rarely use cash since Covid in the UK. Anything under €20 has to be paid in cash, not credit card which I understood, I was just pointing out our differences, his attitude was rubbish.Despite putting a notice to clean our room, the cleaning manager wasn't happy as we had only been there 3 nights. Our beds were only changed once & towels twice in the fortnight we were there & we had to ask for this. With really hot sweaty nights we felt quite unclean. It made us feel a nuisance to ask. The cleaners themselves were lovely & very hardworking.Food was nice but quite salty & lacking in vegetables apart from sauerkraut. No decaf coffee/ tea(I have a heart problem) but I brought my own fortunately.No facilities for making tea/coffee in the room & the restaurant isn't open during the day to purchase any.People smoking continually on the terrace next to ours, having asthma, this was not good.Heat in the rooms was sometimes unbearable when it was 30°C outside with no air con or even a fan.

I really enjoyed how spacious the room was!The easy parking for my car and breakfast were amazing. Nice dog friendly hotel!

I never seen such an old and slow Elevator haha not even kidding. Not a problem, easy acess with the stairs.

Sunken mattresses made us woke up with heavy back pain. No other solution proposed to solve the problem. Television was not working. The receptionist was unable to suggest any restaurant where to watch the football game.

Great location. Easy parking. Wonderful breakfast and restaurant. The setting, service and atmosphere did not disappoint.
