Spa & Resort Bachmair Weissach, LUXURY FAMILY RESORT

- The spa is wonderful. There is a seperate section for 18+ which is very calm. The facilities are great: Multiple saunas, cold baths, multiple swimming pools. There are two saunas that are decently hot (90 degrees Celsius) and one of them is big.- The breakfast is fantastic. There are fresh avocados, bakery items such as raisin breadrolls and hot dishes a la carte - and much more.- The hotel staff is exceptionally friendly.

This hotel comes very close to a 10 rating. Only two minor issues hold it back:- While we were there the Wifi was extremely slow. We could not use it and switched to our mobile data - which also didn't have the best reception.- The spa closes too early for our taste. We were told the sauna is closed around 7 - so we couldn't enjoy it on our arrival day as we arrived late.

Beautiful location

It was completely over run with children not being well behaved. Yelling at the bar. Breakfast with fighting children. And do not plan to go to the hot tub in evening…it’s filled with children. Definitely should have adult only areas that are enforced. Would not return.

Very friendly staff, magnificent japan style spa, superb breakfast, very nice room view into tree canopy and surrounding hills, cosy garden, room decorations. The overall experience was really great and memorable. Highlights were without doubt the onze spa, the breakfast and the very friendly staff.

The bed mattress was too hard for me (75Kg).

Big hotel that never seems to be big, thanks to a brilliant layout. Excellent staff, the service level is really high. Good bed, shower, room. Great Spa and Pool area. The separate family spa is brilliant, it keeps the adult only spa quiet but is not lacking in its offering. Probably the best breakfast buffet and à la carte we have had. Dinner at the hotel was really good as well.

Location of the hotel is not directly at the lake, which we did not mind but it’s important to know. The only thing that did not work perfectly: we had requested and confirmed a pregnancy pillow with the hotel in advance. Unfortunately it was not waiting for me in the room and getting it was complicated. The matching pillow case never arrived during our 3 night stay. A minor inconvenience which did not impact our otherwise perfect experience.

Outstanding amenities with a beautiful Mizu Onsen spa area, great restaurants with extra kids buffet and lovely outdoor area with river flowing through. Also a whole play area dedicated to children with slides, trampolines and climbing activities.

Only minor issue: Staff could have been better at clearing up the tables when finished eating. Little bit of lacking on that side in my opinion.

This is the best hotel with the finest service, an incredibly professional staff, and everything is designed for the utmost comfort of the guests. We've never seen such a variety of breakfast options—it's like attending an amazing banquet :))) The rooms are fantastic with very comfortable beds—mattresses, pillows, blankets—everything is top-notch. The hotel grounds are unbelievably beautiful with a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely return here next time. Thank you for everything!

When we wanted to book a restaurant for dinner, the reception told us that all the restaurants were fully booked, which made us disappointed. However, around 8 PM, we decided to walk by the restaurants anyway. We stopped by the sushi restaurant we wanted and asked for a table for three. To our surprise, they seated us without any issues. Even more surprising, the restaurant remained fairly empty until 10 PM, with many tables still available. We were puzzled by the strange booking policy because we could have missed out (and not spent 300 euros there, haha). It seems likely that this highly-rated restaurant is booked by guests from other hotels who simply don’t show up. I would recommend that the hotel find a way to prioritize their own guests, who might otherwise miss out on dinner or have to dine outside the hotel.

The Bachmair Weissach Resort & Spa did a terrific job all around! The staff was exceptional and the spa, facilities, rooms and food were all top notch! Highly recommended. The price is clearly justified!

One of the Best place we ever stayed with Family. We arrived late at night and Leonie gave us the most warmest welcome. The staff are very attentive, and the spa and pools are great. Many indoor and outdoor facilities for the children. Breakfast is amazing. During our stay Leonie and her team took great care of us and nothing was too much trouble. We left early in the morning and received a very generous and tasty breakfast for the road too. Can't recommend this place enough, we will be back!

Nothing, everything was great.

The hotel is very classy and beautiful. It is very family-friendly and there is much attention paid to details for adults as well as for the little ones. The staff is very friendly and always tries to help. It has a mix of traditional and modern styles. The gardens are beautifully designed with a Japanese touch. The indoor playground Tegernsee Phantastisch is amazing for the small (~2 years) and bigger kids as well. The family suite was very spacious and well-isolated from noise.

I expected the variety of foods for breakfast to be broader, but I guess there was enough choice for everyone.

The breakfast was fantastic. A big buffet plus made-to-order breakfast from eggs to pancakes to whatever you wish. Sadly we did not have a lot of time to enjoy it due to our obligations.

People in neighboring rooms and the hallways could be heard more than I would have liked. This only was true in my room, not the other rooms the family had.

Everything!! Ambience, facilities, SPA, restaurants, locations…it is superb!! This year we went with our 01 year old baby and everything is prepared to assist and support families with children too. Fantastic!

Bed a bit hard and it was very small for a couple and the price of the room but only room left.

The food is excellent, the staff is outstanding, the rooms comfortable and clean, the Spa wonderful, everything was perfect.Looking forward to go there sooner than later again.
