Such a great place to stay. Near town square. Able to walk along the lake - so easy from the hotel. Reception warm and so helpful - taking us to our room and not just pointing the way. Loved the apartment though restaurants so plentiful we did not use kitchen facilities. Loved everything- especially the mattress. Such a great couple of nights

Beautiful, clean, a taste of Austrian architecture and design, amazing breakfast, coffees, cake and apples available every afternoon. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly, our balcony view was beautiful in room 321, love the foldout table in balcony. Nice deep bath for aching joints, hadn’t had a bath like that for years. Quiet location, wonderful walks around the lake 17 miles, complete in 2 days. Would love to come back. You won’t be disappointed.

Breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit and vegetables, local meats and cheeses, homemade omelets with vegetables and cheese, and lots of choices of fruit juice and coffee. My daughters enjoyed hot chocolate. Plus there was the delicious local bread rolls with seeds. The room was large and we enjoyed the balcony that looked onto the quaint village.The owners went out of their way to make our stay feel like we were at home. They answered two long emails even before we arrived. They offered a laundry service so we could wash our clothes halfway through our stay. They allowed us to pet their adorable cream golden retriever! Also, the owner showed me how to use to Wolfgangsee card so I could ride the bus and train to Salzburg for free. This alone saved us a lot of money.There is a lovely lounge where you can relax, and also coffee and tea and snacks are provided during the day. There is a grocery store near the hotel where you can buy delicious food for lunch, which we stored in the fridge in our room.

The breakfast was good. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-appointed. It is a family business and you can tell that the owners take pride in their facility.

It is a bit difficult to see the hotel as you are passing by it.

This was our final stay in Austria and it was the absolute best! The owners and staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating in every way. They provide a superb breakfast accompanied by detailed information about possible sight seeing opportunities. This is truly helpful. On New Year’s Eve, they invited guests to join them to raise a toast to the New Year and we got to meet some wonderful people. In the afternoons, delicious coffee, cakes and snacks are offered in the beautiful lounge alongside a wide array of board games. The ability to park next to the hotel, in their private parking area, is a massive bonus. This historical building is outstanding as is the decor. Both rooms were beautifully decorated and the balconies provided great views. Thoughtful welcome gifts were left in the rooms too. We really did not want to leave! Thank you for your gracious hospitality.

Hotel is fantastic! The location can't be beat, the staff is wonderful, breakfast was lovely, It was the perfect place to stay as we explored the Christmas markets. We booked an apartment and it was perfect for our family of four, with two kids under 12. Would definitely stay there again.

Would have preferred if apartment came with breakfast included, not many other options around and the price was a little steep with kids. Overall hotel was still a good value.

Everything was great. Nice and clean rooms, beautiful hall and very nice crew.

Excellent accommodation in the center of St. Wolfgang a few minutes from the port. The hotel was very comfortable with traditional equipment. Breakfasts were excellent. We enjoyed the lobby with small refreshments for free. A big advantage was a private beach with paddle boards for free for hotel guests. I recommend this hotel.

We loved this fantastic hotel which has a traditional feel and is family run. The view from our room over the centre of the village was great. Our room was large and beautifully furnished. If you were to arrive by car, the free parking provided by the hotel is perfectly fine despite the hotel being at the centre of the village. The hot and cold breakfast is excellent, both the quality and the choice available. Staff are polite, friendly and professional. We doubt that you will be disappointed with the Zimmerbrau.

We loved the hotel but our room was a little warm at night if it had been a particularly warm day. Be prepared for some noise at night if your room faces the town square, although the double glazed window and door does provide very good sound insulation.

The location is right in the center of this charming small town, close to restaurants and to the lake small promenade. They provide coffee and snacks in the hotel’s living room area in the afternoon. We received recommendations for dinner (quite good) and some attractions in the area.

We would expect breakfast to be included for the price charged. Fortunately the place is full with excellent sit-down bakeries and tasting an apfelstrudel along with some capucino is also a good alternative before going out to enjoy beautiful hiking paths in the surroundings.

Bed wasn’t comfortable.It’s a pit noisy in the morning because We had to open the window because of and no fan being provided.

The hotel is right in the middle of the town. It's a beautiful facility and has a garden of its own where the guests can sit in front of the lake and jump to swim.

The thick comforter is more of a burden than helping to sleep at night. Suggest to change to lighter ones for the summer.

Friendly staff and amazing location in the middle of the historic town. Liked the availability of coffee and cake in the afternoon and the private lakeside garden was gorgeous.

Could have benefited from a fan in the room , there is no air con so it was very hot and was woken early by refuse collection at 6.30am due to open window. Ground floor rooms noisy.

Everything, literally everything. It's almost like family at this traditional Austrian hotel. Rooms maybe be small but very carefully and well equipped. Kids play area and private lake area complete the experience. Staff and owners were so so considerate it was exceptional. Marjorie, Alexandria and Hugo really put their heart in this property. This is the kind of of place that stays in your heart forever. One of the best stays I've had anywhere

Nothing. I hate that I couldn't stay for longer

The hotel is located in town centre with lots of restaurants close by (the hotel does not serve lunch or dinner). It is 2 minutes walk to the lake and very close to all the walking trails. The family run hotel is clean with friendly owners and staff. The hotel gets very quiet once the tourists have left town in the evening. The hotel has parking which is a plus point.

We stayed for a week and made a mistake of booking a standard double room, which with hindsight was a little small for 2 people. The double bed was also a little small and the soft pillows not to my liking.

Location is really at the very centre of the village/city, they have really nice garage close by. Hotel is very clean.

WIFI was not working properly, Rooms are not airconditioned (it was quite hot during the day). Only after I booked I realized that breakfast is not included (a bit unusual for European booking). Tourist tax cannot be paid at the time of the booking and for some reason they insisted I pay in cache instead of card (for reasons which I did not understand).
