Hotel Furian

Location, well maintained property.

Bathroom tubs are small and the folding door for entry into tub is not convenient

We loved our stay at the hotel furian . The breakfast was amazing and the location was so close to the main ferry dock and the cog train. Also, it was closer to the market area which was a beautiful stroll from the hotel. Additionally, the view from the hotel was breathtaking. The host was very kind and even picked us from the main bus stand. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend it.

Room is clean

The room is not comfortable: narrowest duvet I have ever seen. Facilities are outdated and some broken. The room has a strange smell of sweat. Shower room is awkwardly small. Breakfast: disappointing. Nothing is freshly prepared. Store-bought, pre-packaged items placed in a 3 layer tray. It’s good as a decoration maybe. The watermelon tasted like it had been left out overnight, and the orange is dry. The hot dish omelette is severely overcooked.

The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and the beach area was also very nice.

Hotel Furian is more than a hotel. So comfortable with all the aspects you didn't know would add to your comfort. I wanted to stay longer to live in all the fun and comfort... but I'm on a tour of Europe! First hotel with a magnifying mirror. It is so much easier to see. It had a little shelf in the shower/tub for shaving my legs. Bikes are in the garage for guests' use. I loved the long ride around the lake helped by great advice from the owner of the hotel. (I needed to take a ferry to finish the ride) The lake access with paddleboard, and excellent care of the facilities on the water, made swimming and purchasing lunch, and beer or wine, easy and comfortable. After traveling on busses and trains, it was so wonderful to ride, swim, and lounge at the water's edge. The hotel owner and son are so helpful. Oh, I forgot! THE BREAKFAST IS AMAZING! And I gathered the fruit offered then for lunch later. I hope to be back someday!

Hotel location is absolutely perfect, walking distance to the ferry and cog railway station. Room are spacious to accommodate big family and staff are welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Room with balcony had lovely views of lake and mountains. Comfortable bed. Kettle with good selection of drinks. Staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Location was perfect. I would definitely recommend and would love to visit again

The location is near the lovely city center by walking.Hotel manager was so service minded and we can feel his intention to explain the city map and recommend good restaurant. The breakfast come with huge set and full decorations. The waitress is lovely and always make sure that we got everything we needed. The amenities is good quality. The water boiler and tea provided in the room is very helpful during winter season.

One of our 2 rooms, the smoking smell was so strong.We try to open the terrace door for a while but the smell still didn't disappear. I would give 9 or 10 for our next stay if the smell become clean.

Friendly and helpful staffs that makes you feel welcomed. Comfy bed and clean room. Beautiful house with a private lakeside area. Big breakfast with lots of choices. There's a lift so it's great for when you have to carry big luggages up. It's definitely a good value stay.

Bathroom drainage had some issue and the TV was broken. However the rest about the hotel is great that these are just minor issues in my opinion. Be mindful that the lakeside area is a 5+ minutes walk from the hotel. Lastly, as the key of the room can also open the front door and the lakeside, I'm not sure whether it can open another guest's room too?

Really enjoyed our stay , breakfast was delicious ( best breakfast I have had) location in walking distance to the main town,room was clean lots of storage space , they even included a fan has the weather was hot . For us has a family the icing on the cake was their private beach area it was heavenly, lovely to relax after a long drive, sunbathing, swimming paddle & even water sports ( at a cost) lovely beach bar for drinks & food & staff were very friendly .

I've been to many hotels in Austria during my last trip, and no doubt that Hotel Furian in St. Wolfgang was the best of them!The owner of the hotel (sorry I couldn't get his name) is super friendly and gives you a sense like you're at home.The location is quiet but close enough to the main street.The hotel facilities are great.Wonderful breakfast.The view from the room is superb.Free parking.Strongly recommend!I'll definitely come back!!

We had a wonderful stay here. Teddy and all the team really took care of us. The breakfasts were like having a “feast” (as our 3 year old called it) every morning. The hotel was very clean, and the beds really comfortable. The cherry on top was the lakeside garden, lovely to relax in and for our little boy to play in. Would love to come back!
