Hotel-Restaurant Moselblümchen

Location. The hotel is located in apedestrian area in the beautiful old town.

The ad says parking available. This apparently means a public parkinglot about 200 meters away. The restaurant was not available as apparently all tables were booked by non-guests. Hotel gusts turning up at opening time were turned away.

Right in the middle of things! Great breakfast.

There’s no parking on site. It’s about 200 yards away right on the river. It’s best to park and then bring in your luggage.

The location was great. The staff was friendly.

I don't recommend the breakfast, they need to work on the cleanliness of the dining room.The room description said there was a bathtub in addition to the shower. But the rooms only had a shower.

It was freezingly cold. Room temperature was about 14°C although the radiator was set to max. A camping vacation in our Van would have been probably cosier. We are also not the type of person who likes breakfast in bed, but apparently there is no option to sit somewhere else.

Breakfast was pretty poor, they weren't organised in the morning and didn't have bread for 30 minutes so I had to leave without a full breakfast. They gave you no information about the wifi, what time breakfast is/where it is when you checked in.

Very close to the Market Square; great location as it's central and close to everything. The staff was very nice and everything was clean. The room was spacious and the shower had a rain and massage setting. The breakfast was also tasty. A good spot for an overnight stay in this village.

Location fabulous. Price excellent. Breakfast satisfactory. Pleasant surroundings. Terrace nice to have ut needed massive overhaul and cleaning to be valuable.

Great place, definitely worth the money! The room and bathroom were spacious, and the staff was very friendly. I really appreciated the complimentary drinking water bottles in the room—a nice touch. Highly recommend staying here.

If the lake or the view was visible, it would have been priceless.

It was oké, but old.

You had to walk with the luggage on a steep hill to reach the hotel. Everything was old. They had updated something in the bathroom , but the curtain in de shower was?

The staff was very accommodating. The location was ideal for exploring Bernkastel and its immediate surroundings. The hotel was quiet and relaxing.

The directions for how to drive up to the hotel to load and unload the luggage. We got lost and confused, and had to walk a bit of a distance with our luggage after parking.

Not too friendly staff, water did not sink proper in the shower, water did not always get warm in the shower, hotel could use some TLC

It was a bit messy.

Breakfast was good, buffet was clean and well maintained, clean table cutlery and dishes. Location was great, barely audible noise from the streets at night, clean room and bedroom.

Great until I took a shower at 21:30, but the reception was gone after I finished. All things broken in Room 8:1) Showerhead-holder was not functioning2) Doors of the shower didn't close properly, 1cm+ at the bottom3) Curtains didn't open & close properly, broken4) Electric extension cable didn't work, so no lights to turn on in total darkness unless you start walking/wandering not seeing anything5) Morning personnel not trained to handle the feedback, started to take it personal, hotel manager was not availableSomething I didn't mention yet: WiFi reception is not great in the room

Breakfast was excellent, fresh and plenty of choices. The owner speaks english very well and is very helpful.The Hotel is in the Center of the Old town were all the attractions are. Minutes away to the boat rides on the Moselle river and a 20 minute walk up the mountain to the old fortress, where you have a fantastic view .

The only Thing I didn't like was the smell in the bathroom. Besides that I can' t say anything else.

Location outstanding, breakfast was ok.

Shower didn't drain & flooded bathroom- staff not available to help, but we were able to get extra towels to soak most up. Beds smelled of long residual body odor.
