    Pros +

    • It’s located in a beautiful town surrounded with the Alps, built within an antique convent yet with modern and comfy beds blended tastefully with antique pieces of art. The included breakfast was very very good.
    • We really enjoyed everything about our stay in this hotel. The arrival was easy, despite the small streets, and we were greeted warmly and shown where to go to park the car. From the check-in to check-out we found the staff to be accommodating, helpful and pleasant to deal with. The room we had a was also lovely, having been converted from the old convent it was evident that the building was old but well maintained. The addition of the fan and airconditioning was nice and allowed us to adjust the temperature in the room to our liking. The bathroom was well laid out, despite the small shower we had no issues at any stage during our stay. Being able to walk through and explore a bit of the convent was also nice, particularly the old well that is still in the courtyard. The opportunity to view the chapel connected to the convent was also taken, and allowed us a view into a small but impressive church that was built in the 14th century. We were disappointed the restaurant on site was not open, but the recommendations for local eateries was welcomed. We found Susa to be walkable and with the christmas decorations and lights it was lovely to be out during the evening. Breakfast was a simple but well stocked affair, with good coffee and plenty of variety for everyone, particularly the array of gluten-free products available.
    • Continental breakfast was good, liked having a coffee machine. Clean and well kept buffet and tables.

    Cons -

    • The staff needs to be more attentive, kinder and more client oriented. They are not capable of solving simple issues like telling them that the towels from our three rooms—even though looking like new—had hairs in them and they just answered: They are washed somewhere else, it is what it is. ?
    • Nothing, it was a very pleasant stay.
    • Was hoping for a room with mountain view, but our room was nice and well appointed.

Comfortable bed, very clean and quiet. Secure parking and helpful staff.

Nice building and convenient parking on the property grounds.

The receptionist did not offer help with luggage. No explanation about the facilities. While the facility is dog- friendly, we had to sign a long list of rules which seemed to be excessive. We booked junior suite but it was tiny with 2 small rooms. Bedroom was with 2 single beds moved together. There was too much furniture and not enough space to walk for 2 people.

This place was exceptional at all levels: location, cleanliness, staff friendliness and professionalism, the breakfast was fantastic. And, it had amazing levels of charm and uniqueness. I recommend highly.

Lovely modern hotel incorporating the original monastery cloister. Very comfortable with helpful staff. Great for a stopover and close to the Roman ruins which are worth a look.

Excellent, quiet stop in a journey across Italy. Classy redesign of ancient Vincent with simple, yet comfortable rooms.

beautiful place with amazing architecture from the 13th century, it was very nice staying there and we enjoyed every moment

the showers were a little small

Fairly comfortable. A fenced area for dogs. Easy parking.

Cleaner BANGING the door and shouting saying it's time to leave! Never experienced this at any hotel ever. It was a disgrace, so rude. We will never spend our money at this hotel again.

Great place although 800 years old rooms were new and nice. Town if Susa is stupendous

    10JokubasPosted on: 3-18-2025

    everything was good!

Maybe breakfast choice is a bit poor for those who like to eat heavy in the morning. Because mainly it is sweets. But overall it is good enough.Wi-fi in my single room was really good first day and then other days it was bad, but superb in the lobby. So not fully sure if it is my computer or something

A really lovely welcome from our receptionist who clearly loved dogs. We asked for local information about driving home via Briançon and he checked the webcam for us.

Noise but I think this is more about other guests not respecting late hours and their own noise levels rather than any fault with the hotel. We expect a little noise in hotels but loud guests in adjacent rooms or talking loudly in the corridor at 4am is hardly an issue with the building's infrastructure.

A lovely building with pleasant features. The room was tidy and perfect for our one night stopover. Breakfast also had a good selection. On site parking was great.

    Location and the historical building

Beds were not comfortable and they were noisy

    10Bucur-baciuPosted on: 2-21-2025

Great bed comfort, very clean and perfect variety for breakfast. Super location for exploring the entire village. Had wonderful time.

Just the soundproofing of the rooms is not great, but definitely you do not have to sleep until late while you’re there. The village js lovely, a MUST-visit.

Location in the old town. Comfort. Style. Super friendly and helpful staff. Quiet and relaxing. Easy walking distance to three excellent restaurants and the superb Pasticcheria Pietrini.

The one fairly big detraction for us (we stayed for 13 nights) is the breakfast. Nothing wrong with it 2/3 times aside from being an identical offering every morning. And really boring bread (when Italy including the restaurants in Susa) have fabulous bread to eat. 13 breakfasts of the same type were really dull. My suggestion is the offer less sweet things and improve on the variety of savoury offerings.

Beautiful building from the 13th century. Very clean. Great breakfast.

    10GeorgePosted on: 1-29-2025

Wonderful location, close to attractive town and with views of snow covered mountains. Close to good and exhilarating walks. Service was professional and friendly. All the staff were helpful and wanted to ensure I had a good stay.
