super friendly family hotel with excellent restaurant and breakfast bar

The staff was very lovely and helpful! Everything was restored recently and the restaurant serves delicious food.

Room and ensuite very small

This little hotel is a real gem. There is off road parking and plenty of room for motorcycles. The restaurant was great. A perfect place to staywhile touring in the Alps whether it be on motorcycles or by bicycle or car.

Bit of a detail but bed is on the small side for friends to share

Super village centre hotel opposite the church. Rooms either in the main building or in a nearby building. We had room 4, quirkily appointed but had all the facilities and a view to the church. The room is described as a small double, and it is. For an overnight stop, it was adequate. Bikes are locked into a garage with half hourly access. There is some parking which quickly fills but more is available up the street.There is a cafe/ restaurant on the ground floor which serves delicious food and a super breakfast.

Friendly welcome. Rooms in an annexe away from main building, Car parking OK when we visited in early July, but could be tight when busy but large public car park nearby. Interesting old town. We ate in restaurant which was OK but lacking vegetables.

William was super friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 days with our bikes which they stored in a locked garage. Our room had a lovely bathtub. In centre of town, right across from church.

Cute littLovely little hotel, newly renovated, with a great bar, good restaurant, good breakfast, parking lot and even a hotel dog. We didn't expect this and were thrilled!

Very friendly owners and staff, helpful and welcoming to us and our dog. Breakfast was good as was the evening meal. Nice cosy bar downstairs. Room was comfortable although the bathroom was quite compact. Hotel is right in the centre of Beaufort so very convenient for exploring the lovely area but standard busy village noise from early morning has to be expected.

The hotel parking is down a steep, very narrow lane which was OK except there is a dip half way down which we couldn’t avoid scraping our low chassis car (Audi) on. Luckily there is plenty of free parking in the middle of town except Wednesday morning due to the market.

The staff at Maison Doran are fantastic! The food was delicious. We enjoyed our stay. Incredible hikes in the area that we enjoyed very much.

Be careful with the shower curtain. The shower doesn't have a ledge to keep the water flowing into the rest of the room.

Unfriendly

We unexpectedly stayed here because thunderstorms had us divert from our original travel plans. But what a gem this was. We arrived, soaking wet and much too early for check-in, on the only moment of the week the staff has some time off. Nevertheless, they let us in, took our bags, and said they'd have our room ready as soon as possible. They recommended us a place to have some lunch in town and called us when our room was ready. The room was impeccably clean and nicely furnished- in fact, the whole hotel is. Their attention to style and detail is amazing. The breakfast had an array of sweet and savory options (which even included a lovely chocolate loaf cake) and was of great quality. The staff was superbly accommodating and kind, and helped us find transportation back to where we needed to go. Overall, we did not plan to stay here at all, but are eventually so happy that we did.
