Pros +
- The room was nice
- The hotel has views of the mountains and is in a great location.
- Great location, nice personnel, food (dinner as well as breakfast) is excellent, good value for money.
Cons -
- The hotel advertises a spa. However, the spa is not part of the hotel. It is a public spa on the other side of the street, and using it is not included in the price of the room. The hotel staff seems like they can't be bothered with guests. The staff seemed to always be busy talking to each other and unavailable at the reception to welcome the guests. As a guest you are made to feel like a nuisance, interrupting the staff's social gathering with your minute questions and petty requests. The hotel seems eerily empty, unlit and unwelcoming.
- Bathroom is a little on the small side but is functional.
- Could hear every single world said in next room.

Very cozy hotel, friendly staff, very good restaurant in a small and quiet town layed down between mountains. Although it was our first time in France and in Areches as we got there by chance, we would consider this place for another, longer stay.
