The breakfast had many options, and the staff did a great job at making me free at home.

It was a very hot week and a fan in the room would have helped to keep the room cooler.

Nicely decorated room, comfortable bed, all very new and clean, great bathroom. The personal working there is kind and professional. Generous breakfast with high quality food. The restaurant also very nice and not too pricey.

My room was unfortunately not soundproof, I could hear any movement, literally anything from the neighboring room, breathing included. The only solution wearing earplugs. Windows are soundproof so no sounds from the street or the nearby station.

I really had a good time in this place. The location is perfect, right in front of the train station. You can take a 5min train to Mendrisio easily from there. The staff are very friendly. I really liked how helpful the lady I see in the morning during breakfast time. Totally recommend this place.

It's a nice and cozy place, well located just across the train station in Balerna. Staff is friendly and helpful, they gave me some good tips about the region and public transportation to place where I was going.

There wasn't a suitable place to store luggage, since the hotel was closed for a large part of the next day.

Very clean and comfortable, felt like I was the first to use the room ever. Right next to a Train station. Nice breakfast included.

A lovely hotel and restaurant, for my son and I to stay at whilst heading back to the UK from southern Italy.The staff were great and the room was spacious and comfortable too.The restaurant was an added bonus, as this was very good.

It was a bit of a struggle to find somewhere to park but otherwise all good.

The accommodation is fine the breakfast is marginal. But a good place te spend the night on the way from the Netherlands to Italie. The restaurant is fine.

The check in time is after 5 pm. If you wish to check in earlier you must make an appointment.

We loved our stay there ! Comfy, relaxed and calm place. The train station is just 3 minutes' walk, it is a perfect location if you wants to visit Como. The hosts are very friendly, and everything is just excellent. Especially thanks for the lady who serving our breakfast during our first 2 days, she is very polite and helpful !

The reception and service at breakfast. We felt we were treated like family and enjoyed the meal sitting outside and felt very welcome. We will definitely visit again.

We are used to hotel check in at the front desk, but after a while figured out how to do the get ourselves ton the room after opening hours of the restaurant down below.

Good breakfast, excellent dinner, nice and clean rooms, super nice staff, location close to the railway station

Excellent service. There was a major problem as the hotel was too full, but the staff/owner went out of their way to fix the problem by finding me anther hotel, and reimbursed me 100% (+ new room free of charge). This is great service and you don't see this kind of "care" that often these days, hence why I do recommend this place!

Lovely rooms, very vibrant restaurants during dinner time. We really would have liked to have dinner there, but we were too tired...Excellent breakfast and nice garden.Parking outside.Close to the train station.

There is not elevator: if you plan to stay just for one night on a stopover traveling somewhere, better have a small bag for the night and leave large luggage in the car.

Small friendly hotel.

I use a CPAP machine to help me sleep. None of my adaptors fitted the electrical sockets.

Everything, the people so friendly, great food…the room was perfect, the towels, the bed ….I give 5 stars
