Very nice hotel close to Chiasso train station with a very good restaurant.The free Ticino Ticket that lets you use regional public transportation in all Ticino plus some discounts on lake lines and cable cars.

Breakfast very marginal and restaurant only does a reasonable pizza. Rest is forgettable and tasteless.

The room location was perfect and just across the border with access to some very nice cafes and restaurants. The room was very comfortable and cozy with a nice balcony and a view of the city and close to the mountains.

The breakfast was not so good and was not fresh too.

The room was extremely loud - we heard the neighbours from each side and up and down, plus all the people shouting on the street in the night (the windows are absolutely not sound-proof). The breakfast had little salty options, no vegetables, only ham and cheese.

It was quiet, clean, spacious. Shower was great. Bedding was good too.

The hotel's greatest strengths were its excellent location and the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Situated in a convenient position to the train station. The staff was always ready to assist with a warm and welcoming attitude. Their professionalism and friendliness truly made a difference

The main criticisms are for the corridors (they need a good renovation) and the sink in the bathroom. While some aspects of the hotel could be improved, the combination of a prime location and outstanding service made for a pleasant stay.

The location and staff were great!

Rooms were too small, plumbing was rusty, heater worked or stops on its own accord. We even changed room but same issue.Breakfast only consist of different types of cereal/oats or croissants. Not many fruits or other options.

I ate the best thin pizza ever. The staff are very kind and helpful. Italy is close to the hotel.

Because of train strike in Italy, I had to break my trip in Chiasso, arriving late and leaving with the first train in the morning (about 5h30). The train station is very close. The personnel were quite friendly. After the trip, entering the hotel was a good sensation "finally home".

For my type of experience (arriving late without dinner, leaving early before breakfast room opens), having the opportunity and comfort of a water boiler and some tee bags in the room would have been great.

The reception staff were absolutely excellent. We’d had a nightmare situation with our old car breaking down which then meant a lot of complicated conversations. Our language skills are limited to English but Greta and the woman on the afternoon shift kindly made the phone calls on our behalf and smoothed the path to the car being repaired. They were so very kind and professional and we appreciated them very much. The restaurant staff were charming and food delicious.Lovely spacious room and bathroom. Friendly cleaning staff.

One of the best hotels. Everything is comfortable, clean and friendly. Very good cuisine at the restaurant. Very nice staff. There was even jazz orchestra on Sunday!

Wonderful room very big, almost a suite for the price of an ordinary standard. Good breakfast included. Very very close to train station. Clean and comfortable. Affordable price, for swiss standard. Very good everything.
