Hotel B&B Casa La Val

Very nice friendly hosts and breakfast was great.Nice sized room, nice and quiet being back off the road.

Not really close to anything like supermarket or variety of restaurants, eateries etc.Being Switzerland it's on the expensive side.

We had stunning views fromour balcony. Room was comfortable and clean. Great breakfast and the staff were really helpful. Excellent location close to train station and a short walk to Sedrun.

Wifi wasn’t very reliable. We were provided with a kettle but only two paper cups - not a big deal.

Hotel is said to be in Sedrun but is in Rueras!It is then difficult to find.The nearby hotel doesn't seem to be happy to provide breakfast and check-out for La Val BB

The rooms were lovely and it was nice to sit out on the balcony to enjoy the view.

The fellow at the front desk was only as friendly as he had to be. Maybe he was having a bad day but it was noticeable.

The rules for the charging station need to be more clear. There was a car connected for the full evening and night, even if it was fully charged and they didn't know how to contact them or how to disconect them.

The room we stayed in was on the second level with a balcony and a nice view of the mountains. There was a kettle in the room to make coffee or tea and a nice welcome note from the owner along with chocolates on the pillow and 2 bottles of water. Check in was easy and in the restaurant directly in front of the hotel. We slept with the windows open and there were flies and mosquitos that buzzed our ears all night. The breakfast was very good and there was a large selection to choose from including boiled eggs, breads, jelly, cereals, yogurt, deli meats and cheeses. There is soap/shampoo for the shower and bathroom (no conditioner).

If you travel with a FireStick or other HDMI device, the TV (at least in our room) had a password on it so you could not change the source to HDMI. Never seen that before, the staff tried to help but did not know the password. Like most places in Switzerland, the room has no AC, so you have to leave the window open. We brought small USB fans which I highly recommend if you travel to Switzerland in the summer.

Everything, this is our third time in Casa la val and it has been perfect as each time we visted, the staff is very kind and respectfull and the place was very very clean as always.I highly recommend this place.

The room was spacious with a little terrace but great views of the mountains. Close to the main road but quiet.

The address. It was NOT Sedrun, it was Rueras. And the “Mountain Lodge” Restaurant is in front of it. Better signage would help travellers.

We had a lovely stay here with friends. We booked 2 double rooms with a balcony. The food in the restaurant in the evening was excellent & the staff were lovely. It was an ideal stop on our driving holiday.

Nothing really. Check in was a bit complicated as we couldn't initially find reception but that was our fault ?

Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.The room was a good size with a nice terrace and mountain views.The buffet breakfast was very good. Overall it was probably the best place we have stayed at in Switzerland.

TV reception was poor with limited channels, but this didn't really bother us.

How friendly the Owner and his staff looked after us. The food was excellent. The bar was great.

The passes not being open due to inclement weather meant we were not able to use it as a base for touring the area on our motorcycles.
