Hotel zur Post

Great service, excellent room, clean. Staff great. Lola's breakfast was great and very helpful, she suggested a restaurant to go to one night and it was excellent. Would recommend Hotel Zur Post.

They don’t have breakfast

The facilities were great, very clean and comfortable. We had a Luxus studio with a big bathroom, I am very happy about our choice.

One small point was that it wasn't very well noticed that the sauna or Spa center belongs to Bad Zurzach Therme. I think it will be better to specify this information. It is only 3 min walk but of course the guests have to pay an additional charge for the Therme, so actually the hotel doesn't have a spa and wellness center, it is located outside of the property. So I would have been happier to know this information in advance.

Don’t bother.

Worst experience in over 40 years of traveling. No one available at the property upon arrival and phone number given not answered and no text could be sent as was landline. Local merchant stated not the first time this had happened. Place seemed empty and of course the poor excuse for a hotel is claiming that they should be compensated for their fraudulent loss. Disappointed that booking.com lists such a property. Travelers beware.

Wow, we were blown away by this hotel. The hotel itself was so cute, very clean, and central location - very close to supermarket, thermal spa, and some lovely restaurants. The room was really big, and the bed very comfortable. There was somewhere safe to place our bikes which was very helpful. There was a coffee machine in our room which was perfect, and the capsules kindly replaced the next day. The best part was the lovely member of staff, she was just fabulous, exceedingly kind and helpful and made our stay 10/10.

You have to keep your eye out for this hotel. It’s easy to miss.

Given it’s a very small town, the hotel doesn’t have stuff around all day, which makes check-in/out difficult

Perfect location to visit the thermal waters and all the attractions, quiet place and the host is lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious room

No staff after 19h, no access to the restaurant, expensive breakfast, so much that the hotel recommends a bakery nearby. No airconditioning, extremely noisy ventilator in the bathroom. Weird key system.

Not one we will be coming back to

Overstretched staff, even though only a few rooms booked. Evening meal stupidly expensive and really poor quality.
