Pros +

• Nice location, nicely decorated and well equipped.
• Loved the location, very close to the town centre and the style of the property was good. It was comfortable, well equipped, and in a quiet area which was only a short walk to shops and restaurants. Great rental for this reason.
• The apartment was in a good location near centre of Mont Dore. Parking on street. The owners sorted very promptly an issue we had on arrival. Very caring and considerate.

Cons -

• Nothing
• Only one bathroom was a bit tricky but manageable. The first concierge was great, but I was a little perturbed by the behaviour of the concierge who arrived on our last day. We had cleaned the apartment very well (cleaner than when we arrived - though when we arrived it was generally ok). The 2nd concierge didn't really communicate with me and seemed quite dismissive when I tried to speak to him. He then proceeded to lift every mattress to look underneath, before then looking in every cupboard, microwave, fridge, under the beds (which when we cleaned had dust and fluff underneath), into the toilet, and everywhere else you can think of, whilst I stood there waiting to leave. He wouldn't even look at me and was quite rude. This made me feel very uncomfortable, which I didn't appreciate when we had looked after the apartment really well and left it pristine. I had paid for my time there and felt I should be treated as a customer, not as though I had done something wrong.
• The layout wasn't super for six people even though it says it sleeps 8. There's a separate toilet with no sink. The second double bedroom is off the bunk bed room so privacy may be an issue for that double room but good for parents and children.
