Pros +
- It is built into a hill with magnificent is and it is landscape gorgeously and flowers were blooming everywhere. Plus, it has a nice pool where you could actually swim laps and sit out on the deck under umbrella. There was a young man at the desk named Phuc. My SIM from Orange Telecom which is notoriously difficult to do business with, ran out of data and they notified me at 5 o’clock in the morning and the process to we charge. The SIM doesn’t work ever and I couldn’t get it to work and there was a young man at the front desk who tried to help me make it work and he couldn’t even make it work and finally use his phone to get it to work and then it wouldn’t accept my credit card that it had accepted before said that my credit card was from the wrong country and this whole thing took an hour. Whatever I have trouble in France with my French SIM I just drive to an Orange boutique but the nearest one with an hour away. The company is impossible to do this way. But this guy behind the desk he finally recharge my phone with his own credit card. I could not believe the kindness of the man. His name is Phuc. He was born in France from parents who left Vietnam after the war. I drive through Europe on a motorcycle every year, and I depend upon the kindness of strangers, and this young man was the most helpful person I’ve ever run into.
- The view from every room is exceptional. Very quiet, close towalking into town. The town is small and charming with lots of fun places to eat or grab a picnic.
- not recommendable, below standard
Cons -
- The hotel is not located on Rue Jean Nicoli but on a small street adjacent to rue Jean Nicoli. The GPS is not able to locatePlease correct the address with the name of this small street
- Nothing wrong with it. It’s a beautiful little hideaway in the side of the mountain with incredible views when I was trying to figure out where to park my motorcycle when I first arrived, I must’ve been on closed circuit TV because the concierge on duty then came up and walked purposely to me to show me where I could put my motorcycle undercover.
- Parking was close but a long steep walk to reception. No restaurant on the premises so had to go back into town which was a 10-15 minute walk. Town had incredible shops and eateries.

We booked an expensive room for a member of our rallyShe had nothing but complaints.Staff was absent, she was cold
The view from the bedroom and balcony was exceptional. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom very practical with hot showers. The hotel is quiet and calm. Room can be accessed directly from outside without bothering anyone. The breakfast was very good. There was a parking space available for a car.The location of the hotel is walking distance from the town where there are various restaurants.
The welcome from the receptionist was not very warm nor helpful. There was rarely a member of staff during breakfast present to assist. The behaviour from the staff did not make me feel that I was a paying customer deserving a good service. Cooked eggs were mixed with sausages which shows lack of consideration for vegetarians. The overall hotel looks shabby, run down and unclean. The hotel does not look like the photos at all, in particular the outside breakfast area which consists of plastic chairs assembled on a fully open terrace with an extremely rusty fence. The hotel did not have any luxurious feel one would expect for a 4 stars hotel.
Views from the room were stunning.Pool looked very nice (were not able to use)Staff were friendly
Reception smelt of cat food, which had been left on the seats.Bar poorly stocked, so were unable to utilise the terrace for a drink to enjoy the views.Shower configuration needs to be reviewed as causes issues to co tain water within shower. No duvet on the bed, only a sheet, thankfully there was a blanket in the cupboard.Disappointing breakfast especially compared to the images on booking.com (e.g. burnt crossiants, fruit passed its best)
View from room.
Breakfast - barely edible and provided on a first come, first served basis as regards some of the items (eg., scrambled egg). Also, the generally neglected nature of the property as a whole. It urgently needs some modernisation (eg., showers) and refreshing.
The panoramic view is amazing, I would say even better than in the pictures. Also, a good thing is that they have parking spots available and the staff is friendly.
I didn’t like the fact that the hotel is in an advanced state of decay. It’s very dirty in general and I think that with small investments you could make a decent stay for the people. Probably it’s not wanted… For example, a situation just crossed my mind, we were sitting on a metallic chair near the pool and when we got up, some rust was stuck to our clothes. I would definitely recommend not to stay there! I am not the kind of spoiled traveller but I think that maybe at some point it was 4 stars, but now it is definitely very far away from that.
Big room, comfortable bed, nice pool. Walking distance to the center of the village. Super views from the terrace.
Breakfast quite basic, but the croissants and bread were delicious.
Beautiful location, Sartene is an amazing base, but beware of the roads if you are used to major roads elsewhere, these are not they!At the hotel, room was exceptionally clean, spacious with a balcony and views to die for. The pool is quiet and relaxing, can't ask for a lot more.
Pool, great view to the valley and sunset, friendly staff, balcony, location close to center
Nice and clean room with gorgeous view on the valley, just a few minutes walk from the city center and the restaurants, very nice pool and garden, free parking available at the spot, very good breakfast with gorgeous view on the valley.
Great location within easy walking distance of the Sartene and with great views of the town and the distance mountains from the balcony.
Nothing really. The room was quite large and clean and the staff were helpful. Good breakfast and a wonderful terrace to enjoy the easy morning sunshine.

Very friendly personnel; super view on the mountains, fantastic garden & pool area with lots of beautiful flowers
We liked so much as the staff was so helpful we have decided to make this place for a base to make one week holiday in corsica.
It is pity that there is no restaurant open all the time. I think this place makes a wonderful restaurant.
Hotel on a nice location a short walk from the city centre. Very nice view, also from the pool. Private parking space is a big plus.

The view was spectacular. The room was clean and spacious.
A bit too far from restaurants
spectacular view from the large room. friendly, helpful staff. tasty breakfast
all good
Fantastic view (and sunsets) from our balcony and from the breakfast restaurant. Nice close to the old city of Sartene - though rather hilly walk.
Could have been a bit more clean in the corners.
