Hotel A Notre Dame

Friendliness of staff and room

Better facilities in other room maybe and carpet on stairs need repairing

First class breakfast , very pleasant service and a comfortable nights sleep.

My. Sat nav working

In the center of town. Safe bicycle storage. Very friendly staff. Quiet at night.

Breakfast is only 1 croissant, half a baguette with jam and a hot drink. The room was small and needs renovation.

Our hostess was very friendly and helpful.

There was black mold on the bathroom ceiling. This may be because the fan did not work. Carpets were not particularly clean.

Great location in lovely town. Historic building and helpful hostess.

Thé location was excellent, very close to everything in La Chatre, a charming historic town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great value for money too and wonderful to have free parking right outside the hotel !

Firstly, it was a very warm welcome by the lady who owns the business. She was really lovely. She certainly knows how to treat people. Knowledgeable about her town and tourist interests. Excellent breakfast. The room was clean and airy even though we arrived on a day when temperatures were high. It was everything you expected of a hotel without fuss. We hope to visit again later in the year because of this experience!

There was nothing not to like!

Fabulous welcome, lovely breakfast, comfy bed, nice linen and nice hot shower.

The rooms were a bit dated but totally fine for our purposes.

it’s location to restaurants and bars, helpful staff

Rooms whilst spacious could do with refreshing as they are rather tired

Friendly hostess, nothing is too much trouble. We have stayed here 4 or 5 times and will definitely be back.

All good.

Retro Styling but modern approach..Excellent breakfast, Excellent Service

There is very little to dislike.

Wonderful large snowy white bed, wonderful bath, warm and cozy and traditional. Charming manager who was so kind about our dogs and was a pleasure to talk to.

Fantastic location a short walk into town, cafe bars, restaurants right on your doorstep, staff very efficient, bed comfortable and shower water hot with good pressure.

Property decor is rather dated, and carpet/wall coverings are showing their age, a little money spent on these could really lift the property.

Courtesy of the lady's owner, location, parking facility.

Facilities a bit rundown.

The welcome was extremely warm and friendly, good parking room was basic but very clean. WiFi was excellent and our dog was made very welcome. The hotel was quiet and bed and linen good. Beautiful location next to the church with restaurant and cafes nearby.
