    Pros +

    • Location good, it’s a big place and so noisy and busy oaky for families with a pool etc
    • On the beachfront with all holiday amenities, did a 3 course dinner at the restaurant with a show was great also took in a cabaret show close to the hotel called Cabaret Le Cour Royal was excellent would highly recommend
    • Amazing view, clean and comfy room, helpful staff, modern facilities.

    Cons -

    • It had a funny smell about the place and the toilet door didn’t open properly so it was squeeze to get in and out. But we had one night there so it was manageable. Not the cleanest place we have stayed. Expensive for the lack of cleanliness
    • Nothing as described
    • Generally comfortable but really tiny toilets.

The hotel has a private beach with on a "fake" lake and it was pretty good. It has deckchairs, parasols and various water sports activities readily available. The restaurant offers buffet-style lunch and dinner for an extra charge and it was very delicious.

The hotel would even get 8/9 from me but it was pretty difficult to speak English with the staff. Everything including all activities, all animations etc. in the hotel is in French, so if you don't speak French, you won't really attend/enjoy these. There were also activities for kids during the day but since our daughter doesn't speak French, she was not able to attend any of them. I was really disappointed by that. Moreover, all meat products served at breakfast was pork. It would be nice if they had other options for people who don't eat pork.

The 'beach' area was great. The staff were really attentive and I got a sense they genuinely loved their organisation that they work for. And they went the extra mile.

I'm English so we always expect a kettle in our room to make tea!

Very friendly stuff. Nice lake view. Close to city center.

    No refrigerator in the room

This hotel should have more then just 3 stars! How it looks, all the facilities, size, the view, lake, its own beach, close to the sea, large free parking, everything is amazing.

Two things I didn’t like: 1. bathroom (with several damages)/wc too small (door hits you right in the face if you want to close those during doing “business”). 2. Average age of guests is like in a nursing home (i’m not familiar with the reason and maybe it was like that just during our stay)

    Location

Waterside rooms a bit stuffy, maybe open windows before guests arrive for fresh air!

    Outdoor facilities

Room and bathroom/toilet were a bit small. Entertainment was a bit loud.

This is a vacation club, family oriented. There is plenty to do from swimming pools, lake activities, tennis courts, mini golf, Kayaking and plus it is in the front of the beach. It is great!

The view, the facilities and activities to do with kids, the pools etc.

    Mediocre food

    6ElenaPosted on: 7-4-2023

Beautiful Location! A lot to explore and so calm and peaceful to be by the sea. There is a lot of great activities to do at the hotel.

A bit dated. The indoor pool could be remodeled. Smelled like chlorine.

It is a walking distance from the airport and the harbour. This was the main reason we booked a room.Older couples and older groups of friends would enjoy the hotel because they have quite a few activities on site during the day that are popular with this demographic. However, none of them were of particular l interest to us. They also have tennis and basketball courts, but we did not make use of those.

Our room had a very strong smell, probably from the carpet. We had to keep the window open the whole time, but it helped very little. The breakfast was very standard, nothing special. We were planning on swimming in the lake, but it was not clean enough to swim. The swimming pool inside could also use some routine cleaning. Almost everyone used the swimming pool without showering first. This was expressly forbidden, but there was no staff enforcing the policy.I thought we could use the bikes in front of the hotel for free since "cycling" was listed as a free of charge activity on booking.com. However, this must refer to something else; renting a bike costs 15-20 euros per person.

The hotel breakfast was very good

The hotel is looking tired and the outside is beginning to look unkempt. No availability in the restaurant and no alternative, the lack of staff at the bar made it slow. Did not provide twin bedded rooms although requested and confirmed.

    3AKLPosted on: 5-29-2023

The size of the bed, the tranquility.

The cleanness, the room was dirty there were spider webs everywhere in the room. The breakfast wasn't nice and very limited. The toilets and the bathroom were very small. The check-in is at 5pm and the checkout is at 10 am.

    easy access…good quality room.

nothing really. we were just a transit stop so no time to find anything irritating!
