Pros +
- It was supposed to have a restaurant and a bar but both were closed because not enough people were staying.
- Friendly staff, very helpful, they got us fresh hot croissants in the morning, super helpful with allergies.
- Great hotel for a quick stopover after arriving at CDG, easy drive; great value for money.
Cons -
- We should have been warned about their being no food because we were on an industrial estate and there were no restaurants nearby. It was creepy, unwelcoming and tiny little bedside tables and exceptionally poor lighting.
- As stated above we didn’t like anything about the property . The area was terrible the staff unprofessional and the room dreadful and not cleaned or service . We cancelled the booking immediately and found another hotel .
- I had not used this Campanile before, having usually stayed at Villennes-sur-Seine, but the management there has joined so many French hoteliers in closing their restaurants at weekends, much to the inconvenience of their clients, who are left to fend for themselves. My initial impressions of the Campanile at Epone were favourable, the receptionist being polite and helpful. I was a little disappointed in the room, which being intended for the handicapped, had a large bathroom but a very small workspace. However, when I visited the restaurant for dinner, I was presented with a small blackboard on which was chalked a very meagre (and incomplete) menu. The food itself was of an acceptable standard, but the service was certainly not. The two waitresses stood chatting to each other for more than twenty minutes, completely ignoring their five clients. They eventually recognised that I was attempting to make eye contact with them, only to advise me that they did not have any cognac or Armagnac. A disappointing experience, leaving me to make a further search for an acceptable Campanile in this area.

Nothing. . We arrived and found a really unhelpful member of staff . We got to the room which had not been cleaned . It was a tin box and very small . Dreadful area too

The location was good quick access to the motorway.
The towels had stains, bed bugs my sister got bitten by bedbug.
Basic but clean. Decor a bit tired. Friendly helpful staff.
Needs modernising ideally
Breakfast was fine. The location was ideal for our needs. The staff were always attentive and helpful.
The pillows were flat. There was an aroma of stale tobacco and mustiness in the room.
Cheap price
The room smelt like someone had been smoking in it. The shower ran cold for nearly 3 minutes before warming up. Breakfast could have been better.
The staff were brilliant and could not fault the breakfast.
The floor in the room was filthy and could have done with a good clean.
Love the bathtub in the shower, good location, not too far from Paris. Found a European pizza championships winner in Épône central, Pizza P'epone, really nice. The smile of the lady staff at the reception in the morning bright up our day.
We've chosen "pay at the hotel option". But the staff deducted from our credit card without having our permission. We did get our refund but it's not in their right to deduct at the first place. Found some lady inner wear in the cloth cabinet..
Staff were very friendly but cleanliness is awful, not like pictures
Carpets were dirty, toilets don’t flush properly
Passable
In the room there was a bad smell and even if we selected to pay at the arrival, they upcharged before the arrival, within the check in time.
excellent Breakfast and kind staff
The room smelled very strong from cigarett smoke. if you get a room on ground floor you will also get the exhaust from all the cars parked just outside your door. it is also very noisy in the morning when all the cars are leasing.
The staff at the hotel were really friendly and tried to help us in any way they could. Due to the fact, that the hotel was 'too' close to the railway station (5 minutes with the car), no taxis or Uber wanted to bring us there. The hotel staff then organised a ride for us with their private car and didn't even want any payment for that.
- Cleanliness- Room in general- Breakfast (food looked like it was a week old...)I've never stayed in such a dirty room before. Except for the bathroom, everything looked and smelled dirty. And the brownish carpet only made that worse. We stayed at Campanile Epone for 3 days (2 nights). While the bathroom was really clean on the first day, the house maid 'cleaned' it and left a sticky brown residue everywhere. I would never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.
Location: Close to A13
Room was smelly, work down and not very clean
I have never stay at this franchise of hotels before and was disappointed in the room. The food was ok and restaurant was comfortable. The price was right,
Other resident spent hours outside their rooms smoking. laughing until the early hours. They gathered in groups which spread to outside my room. The staff seemed to have little or no experience in wine. We were offered a bottle of white wine which was literally warm and should be served chilled. Half bottles were a problem.
Breakfast was good.Location was good and close to Gargenville close to our family
No hand towels were available.Soiled , old blanket
Staff is very friendly and helpf6. Rooms are tidy and calm. A good choice for a long travel.
Room were smoking rooms. Didn't know, that in 2021 those rooms still exist. Was not the fault of the hotel, but a recommendation for travelers: check, that you have booked a non-smoking room (if wanted).
Room same as always. No problem. Nice guy at the reception.
The property needs an upgrade. Carpets on the stairwell coming loose. A real danger of tripping. But the big problem was no hot water in the shower. It was not freezing. But not even tepid.
