    Pros +

    • Great location, magnificent view
    • Beautiful location with views right onto the Seine river. Perfect place to relax away from the chaos of the big city. There’s a pool and a spa, as well as two restaurants on site. We ate in both and loved them. The first is more braisserie and the other is a Michelin starred masterpiece. Breakfast is sort of typical French, very bread heavy but I appreciated the fruit and yogurt, and you could pay extra for eggs. Loved the orange juicer. And the pool was a perfect place to wind down after a day of sightseeing. It’s a good location to go to Giverny and other local tourist spots. Also just seems like it would be a nice place to come and relax with beautiful views anytime of year.
    • Staff are wonderful restaurant is fabulous and views are stunning.

    Cons -

    • Some issues with Wifi which was ignored and left unsolved by the staff
    • I had a beautiful room with river views, but my friends were stuck back in a kind of weird room. I suppose it was a family room, but we were all adults. If you don’t mind sleeping in a twin bed, then it’s fine. I would check about the specifics of the room because I think there’s a big difference between the rooms in the main house and the rooms out back, just in case you’re picky about those kinds of things. I am a bit picky, so I assured that I had a luxurious Riverview room when booking. Totally worth the splurge for me!
    • Well, some rooms are quite beautiful but others look very dated and the old Hollywood theme comes off as very Vegas. Also lights weren’t functioning in the hallways of our building so some upgrades are needed.

The staff across all departments—including the front desk, both restaurants, and the spa—was exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive. The Junior Suite provided a peaceful and tranquil environment, while the room itself was impeccably clean and comfortably appointed.

The staff is polite, but not always readily available. If you wish to order a drink at the bar, enjoy afternoon tea at 5 PM, or even have a pastry, you may find yourself unattended, as there is often no one present to serve guests. On multiple occasions, the front desk was also left unstaffed. Regarding the room, the thermostat was not properly adjusted upon arrival, and despite requesting assistance from the front desk, the issue was not resolved. As a result, my first night was uncomfortably cold. It was only the following day that a maintenance technician addressed the problem. It is disappointing that housekeeping or those responsible for room preparation do not ensure the space is properly heated before a guest's arrival. While the room itself was aesthetically pleasing, the duplex layout proved impractical, particularly given the uncomfortable sofa. Overall, the experience fell short of the expectations for a four-star hotel.

I really liked the view from the windows of the room

The design of the hotel both from the outside and especially from the inside is really not good. The attempt to combine modern elements in a new building was not successful. It is obvious that there was no professional hand here

The view from the breakfast place is amazing and the breakfast itself (buffet style) is very good.

Spacious room with garden for our dog. Parking near our room for transfer of bags/husband etc. V comfortable bed. Convenient bistro. Garden is pleasant. Good dog bed provided which is nice touch. Not far from A13 autoroute so convenient

Nowhere to put our sponge bags in bathroom which is inconvenient. The wiring in the bistro’s conservatory looked very dangerous!

    9AlisonPosted on: 8-6-2024

Room was nicely decorated and light, with three ;large windows, and a lovely view of the river. Food at bistro was excellent and reasonably priced, we ate out in the gardens. Outdoor pool was great and very clean.. Free parking on site.

Some staff in the restaurant had limited English but perhaps we need to improve our French!

    6CynthiaPosted on: 8-4-2024

Great view. The bistro was great. Nice outdoor swimming pool.

The room was really awkward for a family - low beams meant we were hunched over for most of our time.

    10LudvigPosted on: 6-30-2024

Amazing view, the pool is nicer than the pictures, amazing drinks in the bar. Two good restaurants, many things to do like billiard, table tennis, cinema, board games. All in all a great place for the money!

Nothing was bad and this was the second stay.

    9MichaelPosted on: 4-17-2024

Food is very good in the Bistro and I expect in the Michelin star restaurant although we did not eat there. Good area for dog walking.

    It was all good

Very nice ground floor room as requested. Bistro also v good. Comfy bed. All good. View spectacular from main building.

The room was stunning! I felt like a princess in my own tower. Amazing views from the terrace down to the river and surrounding countryside. Room was super luxurious and bedding etc very comfortable. The restaurant was spectacular and staff very helpful and friendly

    Nothing!!

Lovely hotel in beautiful location, lovely view from room. Enjoyed the pool. Staff generally charming, helpful and friendly.

Greeting from 'Monsieur Non' on reception. Arrived at 2pm, room not available until 4pm (fair enough). Could we have a beer? (Non!), could we have a meal? (Non!), could we have a sandwich? (non!), can we go for a swim? (non!) .. 'it is the rules'. Went off in the car to a restaurant, got back at 3.30pm (non .. I said 4pm) to which the lovely maid standing in reception said 'actually it is ready', we got the room, Monsieur Non didn't look that pleased! Is there a hot breakfast? (non!) .. next morning we had scrabbled eggs / boiled eggs. Staff in breakfast room were lovely, so helpful and friendly/fun.

The views and the staff were fabulous!

Our room had a slight musty smell and the room could use some more lighting

    10DavidPosted on: 8-22-2023

Wonderful stay, friendly staff, great view and location. 20minute drive from Giverny. Very smart, on-trend decor in this historic building.

Nothing really, I guess the windows in the bar area could be renovated, looked old.

    7JessicaPosted on: 8-14-2023

The scenery and view were amazing. The outdoor pool was really wonderful too. Breakfast was really lovely too.

Our room was old and tired and dusty. There was no shower, just a bath and it was decorated with old records and rusty discs. Also the pictures of the family room show a separate area for the kids but we were all in one room.

    10NancyPosted on: 8-8-2023

Although I arrived before check-in, I was allowed to use the pool. I thought this very cordial. Offering the painting class was a big plus.

I wish the main dining room had been available for dinner during our stay. But was pleased it was open for breakfast.

    5AllysonPosted on: 7-28-2023

the view was amazing from the main property

didn’t realise we were staying in a small room in another site adjacent to the property with no view at all. booked for dinner months in advance, only to find it was over e100 per person for a degustation. there was no option. we were badgered for a tip after staff miscalculated our bill without apology.

    9AnnePosted on: 7-26-2023

Beautiful location and a nicely renovated hotel. Rooms individually decorated and some with balcony and the most amazing view. The restaurant also has suberb views over the Seine and serves amazing food.

Only thing not up to standards was the cleanliness of the bar and hallways. The rooms and the restaurant were cleaned to standards, so no big issue.
