Boutique Hôtel La Victoire - Vence centre

Great location in the centre of Vence. Close to restaurant the Neo sud just at 1 minute.Just cross the road to the street market twice a week. Close to many shops, artisant, bar the old town of Vence.

Missing coffee/ tea in the room. Besides that, all great.

The location was absolutely perfect! It looks onto the main square and backs up to the old town. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops are literally within steps of the entry to the hotel. Touristy, but feels more like French tourists without all the "tourist traps" of St Paul de Vence. The area is extremely walkable and the gate to old town was right out our window. Lots of people, but no sound in our room! We took the bus from Nice and then walked to the hotel from the bus stop, about 7 minutes. This is a great place to base day trips from on the bus, as well. New town is very close to the bus stop and there are grocery stores there. Common area has a refrigerator shared with other guests (we had no issues with this). There is a microwave as well. If reception is closed or you lock yourself out of your room, the bar next door can help you.

Stairs as soon as you open the door! Could be problematic for some! Once you ascend to the first floor, there is a lift. The shower is absolutely TINY as is mentioned in other reviews!

Location in the centre of the town. As we arrived late we had to get our key from the restaurant next door. The staff were very friendly and helpful and recommended a restaurant to us as there’s was full. We had a very inexpensive meal which was excellent on their recommendation

Parking was in an underground car park and took a while to find a space.

Small shower. Bumped into the shower knob every time I moved so it turned off the water

Stayed here before. Excellent location. Modest room, but truly value for money. The (very) nearby underground parking is reasonably priced for overnight.

It’s a fairly simple basic hotel, does breakfast, but we didn’t take that as surrounded by lovely cafes, bakeries etc. Right in the middle of town, lovely helpful staff, clean functional rooms, without much in the way of frills. Very happy stay

Hard mattress and uncomfortable pillows

Situation was great. Just beside one of the gate entries to the old city.Lots of restaurants around.

My room was in darkness. Light bulb in bathroom gone. Light to left of bed gone. Only light to right of bed went out. Apparently that aspect, fuse blew?!No power therefore to charge mobile I had used up battery on GPS during day. So no torch light.Giving me a credit towards a meal when I come back. However, as international tourist passing through, not likely. A card credit would have been a recompense, in some way?

Excellent location on the town square

No parking onsite, had to pay for public parking. Noisy early in the morning from setting up by other businesses/cafes/markets due to the location on the square.

This hotel is perfectly located for access to restaurants, sights, and buses. The breakfast served the best croissants I had in a month in Italy and France.

The bed was not comfortable with a very thin mattress and hard surface under it. The bathroom was really the worst of a month of hotels in Italy and France. Not only was the shower small, but you couldn't turn it on without the shower curtain sticking to you and the room flooding, no matter how you arranged things.

The location was spot on. Couple of hundred yards walk from the bus station. Right outside the old town. There was also a square which had a small market on it, mostly local food. The hotel overlooked the square and the arch into the old town, along with Harry's bar! We were also able to leave our luggage before booking in, which allowed us to visit St Paul's du Vence.

The location is just perfect. Right at the corner of the city square. Very lovely neighborhood. The city is just amazing overall. It took my breath away and exceeded my expectations. The people are very nice and helpful. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at La Victoire and we highly recommend this lovely cozy place in magical Vence. The food is on another level! We recommend all the places and restaurants we visited; La Regence Cafe, Neosud, La Farigoule, Pâtisserie Marianne.

The room was filthy! The bathroom was even worse with a shower curtain that was dirty from so many bodies using it? Tried to get a room change but we were told it was too full. Would have cancelled and rebooked somewhere else but too late in the day. It was that bad I should have got a refund. The lack of investment in the property was clearly obvious and client care was woefully lacking. This place should be struck off booking.com until renovations are carried out. This is 2022 not the 70‘s!
