    Pros +

    • The best location to us.
    • Very handy for town centre. Restaurants are only a short walk away. Friendly staff
    • Comfortable Beds. Good Parking. Very nice Breakfast. Close to the old town.. Walking distance. The reception staff was very helpful and welcoming. Every concern was for there for our comfort. We enjoyed the balcony with our room. Highly recommended.

    Cons -

    • The roof top space was not available. Breakfast room was sometimes not adequate for number of people.
    • The trip from the basement car park to reception wasnt ideal
    • Relatively expensive for a one night triple room, and with an extra parking fee. The hotel feels a bit dated and is not in Saint-Paul (what we thought for this price).

The very comfortable beds and the absence of noise

Great location. Great parking. Fabulous staff- Pascal, Michael, Paul. Very comfortable bar for late night drinks. Rooms very comfortable. Fabulous hotel to stay. Restaurants and bars and Old City within a 6 minute walk.

Good location. Quiet place. Friendly and welcoming staff. The artworks on the walls. New, clean bathroom. Next to the hotel there's a hose with water from a nearby spring ready to be freshly drunk!

Overall the place is nice and comfy; it may only need few renovation tweaks in the bedroom to be great.

Clean, comfy, great location, lovely decor in the room. Good continental style breakfast.

    10ChristinePosted on: 6-11-2024

Excellent location very close to the beautiful town centre. Walking to the restaurants and main shopping street ( not very large) was easy and less than 10 minutes. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy access to Nice and Cannes. We didn’t hire a car and used public transport which was cheap and efficient.

The breakfast was expensive considering what was on offer.

The Hotel Diana is in a great location, with nice, comfortable rooms and a really friendly and helpful staff. Having private parking was also really helpful since parking in Vence can be a challenge.

The breakfast is very basic, but not really a problem since it's an optional charge. We didn't use their breakfast, but just walked a few minutes each morning to one of the nearby bakeries and had a delicious warm ham and cheese croissant and cappuccino for about 5 euros.

Location is excellent, and the use of a hotel car park a bonus. Wi-Fi is good and easy to access.

A room overlooking the road is a problem. The breakfast could be markedly better: bread & croissants, coffee & tea and yogurt selection needs improvement please.

The hotel is well located within walking distance of Vence old town, restaurants and bars. The room was very clean and had a good sized balcony which overlooked the garden. The room had a small fridge which was very handy for us. Lovely bathroom and plenty of hot water. Secure car parking for €15 per day. The staff were helpful and friendly.

We had trouble getting into the hotel around lunchtime. The front door was locked probably because the staff were having lunch. We rang the bell a couple of times and one of the cleaning staff let us in. Not a major problem but one to note.

Exactly as described. Central location, I had an excellent room with great views. It’s one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in, very well maintained and run.

    8EmiliePosted on: 4-4-2024

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They have many good recommendations of things to do and places to eat and are very happy to share their stories and experiences. The view from the solarium is breathtaking. You can see the snowy Alps and the blue sea and their roof top is one of the highest points in the town. The room was very clean and kept in good condition (even if the hotel is not so young). They even brought me a vase up to the room for my beautiful flowers. There is also a lot of bright art around the hotel which we enjoyed looking at and they make an excellent gin and tonic ;-)

In the morning we could hear the street cleaner go past but on the plus side, the road was always very clean.

It’s such a shame that the hotel is surrounded by apartment buildings and all the noise that accompanies congestion and construction.

When I arrived at 1 in the afternoon to just leave my bags at the desk before my actual check in, the doors were locked and no one at desk. I had to wait fo about 15 mins for staff to let me in. It was a lunch break apparently.

Very well situated walking distance to the old town. Parking space. Large bed. Clean. Friendly.

    10PaulaPosted on: 10-14-2023

Very nice hotel in a great location, quiet yet close to restaurants and bars. Very friendly staff, we chose a junior suite and it was lovely. Roof top area with fantastic views. Secure car park if you’re taking a car. All in All fantastic stay.
