Pros +
- Location. Clean. Good place for storing seven bikes. Good restaurant.
- The preparation of the food was good and the location for the bicycle storage was safe.
- Convenient location with great secure parking.
Cons -
- Very inconvenient lighting system: the key card had to be inserted for the lights to work, plus lights constantly went on and off by motion detectors. At night they would turn on if you went to the bathroom, awakening your partner. If you removed the card they wouldn’t turn on at all! The made me appreciate the simple system of flicking a switch when you want to turn on a light! Also, the mini- fridge did not work.
- The bar service, restaurant service and front desk service personal were short, curt and not very helpful. Additionally the comfort and location of the room(Dungeon) and accessibility to the room was horrible. Up and down several flights of narrow spiral stairs in the dark to access the room and then in turn to access breakfast and dinner. The room was a through back to the early 1900s.
- We had a room in part of an annex. To get there was not easily explained, the issues is a broken elevator. We are both healthy retirees, but I had to help a less fortunate lady with the stairs.

Very comfortable bedroom and it’s facilities. Excellent Breakfast
Restaurant menu limited wine list the opposite
Comfortable room and bed Good breakfast Good private parking opposite the hotelCentral location Lovely small town by the river, good tourist officeAbbey well worth a visit
Excellent room, very good restaurant, close to the station. One of the best Booking .com hotels we have stayed in and it must be well over 100. Breakfast good as well.
Great location, good size room, free parking, nice restaurant, great atmosphere, truly dog friendly, and very helpful staff
Location and restaurant frequented by all the locals was good
Cleanliness. Did a check under the sheet to check for bed bugs and there was hair everywhere i looked. I think the facilities are ok and staff were friendly changed my room to slightly cleaner one. I would strongly recommend that the property change all the mattresses or hire a professional cleaning company to get rid of hair and stains. Once they do that very willing to try the property again
Great location, very friendly staff in all areas, clean, quiet, very good food in the restaurant ,superb breakfast
No complaints
Super clean and super comfy. Warm on a chilly February evening and the restaurant was very welcome. Safe parking locked at night is across from the Hotel.
Everything especially dinner, parking and location wise
Comfortable bed, location easy to walk around Tournus and its attractions. The onsite pub was nice.
Our room. We were perhaps unlucky to be in the annex (room 334). The temperature was ridiculously hot and the Aircon / heating unit only blew very hot air. We ended up having to get it turned off entirely and left the window / door wide open to make it tolerable (in January). The room location is also up / down two flights of stairs and lifts don't work. It feels like you are in a time warp. There is no shower, only a bath which is high and tricky to get out of if you're short. The hairdryer is wall mounted that's probably been there since the 1970s. Overall we really didn't like the room. We asked for help with the temperature and if we could move but, no.I don't think this room should be let out at the usual price.
Good variety especially the bread and fresh fruit, both whole and salad
Breakfast was too expensive
Excellent hotel. Very good value for money. We booked a family room and it was perfect (spacious, clean, quiet and with all comforts needed). Very good breakfast featuring also homemade and local products. We stopped for one night on our way to our main destination. Next time, we’ll try the restaurant, which looks also very good and provides for a menu with typical regional meals.
Location, friendliness of the staff and comfort of the room

The quality/price ratio is excellent, and the staff is vey nice
The restaurant choices were somehow limited (but the food was great)
Everything was good. We often pass through Tournus and will definitely try to book into this place again. We did not eat there as we wanted to eat outside next to the river.
The hotel had really easy access to the motorway and created a lovely Arabic-style atmosphere in the decor and architecture of the lovely restaurant, which had tasty food at a reasonable price. We would definitely go again as it is a really pretty little town.
Fridge in the room? (my dog gas fresh food and our ice blocks had run out by then.)
Well kept hotel with good rooms
No lunch in the pub, which wasn't the case the last time I stayed.
Nice room, plenty of secure hotel parking. Lovely meal in the restaurant. Good for our overnight stay.
